Well I got my second beta number. It went from 33 to 130 in 4 days. I have to test it in a week again. I have no idea how I will wait this long.

I am now 21 days past ovulation and my beta is 240. My beta is still pretty low so I am not that hopeful. I guess that I should be around 5 weeks 2 days. That is pretty low.

Kater, don't think negatively!!! Its still going up and there are plenty of gals whose Beta's didn't double in two days and continued on with a normal pregnancy... Don't lose hope! Wishing you the best...

As for me....

I had two IUIs.
Both times I had 3-4 mature follicles. Although the first cycle, I responded too quickly and had to coast at the end. This cycle was probably more ideal.
Not sure of sperm counts... they just tell us 'looks great'!
I used Follistim (avg 50 units/night for 8 nights this cycle), and then Ovidrel trigger.
First on hpt: 12 dpiui
Beta, 13dpiui: 662
First u/s: around 5/15

Happy Monday ladies!!

So I havent yet posted anything during these 2ww because I have been trying not to think about it so much. I had a faint line on a hpt at 10d piui. I luckily had an appointment with my RE that day and he ordered a blood test and a beta. I got my results the next day and my beta was 23.57. I did another one today (3 days later) and am anxiously waiting on the results. I did do another HPT this morning and it was another . Im really anxious and nervous and its all sort of surreal right now. I dont want to get my hopes up because I feel like my number was to low.

Rachelle...Your number was great for being that early hon! The only thing I would have been concerned about is the trigger, if you used one, but the fact that you're still getting BFPs on HPTs puts that worry to rest! Please make sure you post your next beta and all your stats...Can I ask what dh's sperm counts and motility were this round? Have a couple friends that are really feeling down with low counts, so hoping your story can be inspiration for them...Thanks in advance hon! Congratulations again!!

Charity- We have been struggling with low sperm count and low motility for 3 years now. The first time we did our IUI his count was only 700k with 40% motility. He completely stopped drinking caffeine and started taking Fertility Blend from GNC, along with a multi-vitamin. Normally we always abstained from intercourse for 3-10 days before his SA, but this time we decided to only abstain for 24 hrs before. His count jumped to 5.6 mil post wash with 70% motility. Its still not great in our RE's eyes, but great for us and we may have gotten our with such a low count. There arent many blogs about low sperm count so I always loved seeing stories with people in the same situation, I hope this helps those that are in the same boat as us with the male factor.

2. How many mature follicles did you have? 2 mature(R: 20, 17.5), 2 possible smaller ones that could mature in time.

3. What were your sperm counts post-wash, and motility? SC postwash- 22 mill w/ 100% motility & 34 mill w/ 96% motility

4. What medications were you using if any? Gonal F, asparin, Novarel (trigger)

5. What day did you get your BFP? 13 dpiui (BEST day of my life!! Im still in shock!!)

6. First couple Beta numbers? 14dpiui- 160, 18dpiui- 1014

7. How many babies? Don't know yet

I got my lab results back today and at 13 dpo my beta went up to 98!!!! I havent gotten in touch with my RE yet, but I'm hopingthat since my number went from 23 to 98 in 3 days thats a good sign!!!!

That's a wonderful sign, Rachelle! Congratulations hon! You've got at least one healthy bean in there so far kiddo!! These were my betas with my twin pregnancy. I had IUI 24 hours post trigger, so dpo is a day before the IUI days...(My pg did end in m/c, but that's due to a clotting mutation we discovered later, so though mine ended, that wasn't due to the babies, so no worries kiddo!) I had a beta done yesterday it was 451...only 17dpIUI do you ladies think this means multiples or does it mean something else? This is my first pregnancy so I will be kinda scared of more than one baby....Please HELP...lol. Let me know what you all think!!! Thanks

3. What were your sperm counts post-wash, and motility? 26 million and motility was 94%

4. What medications were you using if any? Clomid 100mg and Trigger shot

5. What day did you get your BFP? 10 dpiui

6. First couple Beta numbers? 12 dpiui-62, 15 dpiui-237 and 19 dpiui 1218...good right?!?!?!

7. How many babies? Not sure yet, have an U/s on the 13th.

Hi ladies...just poking in for a little hope! I was looking at the dates of first and was wondering if before that date you HPT and got negative? I am on day 11piui and am still and wondering if experienced it and it changed in the next few days?

I took a HPT 10dpiui and got a BFN, took another 4 days later and got a , so it's totally possible. Don't give up yet, it may just be too early.
