Didn't ask and didn't want them to tell me either. Just one more thing for me to worry about.

With BFP used daily HCG injections (similar to using Menopur) and Gonal F. Unsure of dosage.

5. What day did you get your BFP?
15dpiui!

6. First couple Beta numbers?
Only had one - it was 130 @ 15dpiui

7. How many babies?
One baby! Get to see it again on 3/5.

1. How many IUIs did you do? 3 Total. 1 with Clomid, 1 with femara and repronex, 1 with just (tons of) repronex). All

2. How many mature follicles did you have? Dunno, Got on Natural Cycle!

3. What were your sperm counts post-wash, and motility? Natural cycle so not clear. But DH had been all over the place in months before. From 21 mil to 2.1 mil.

4. What medications were you using if any? The month before natural cycle I used 21 vials of repronex during 12 days of injections. Plus 1500 Metformin. So i have to think the repronex was still in play during natural cycle. But technically, I was just on the Metformin.


5. What day did you get your BFP? January 30th, CD35, 17 dp +OPK/LH Surge

6. First couple Beta numbers? 427, then two days later 850.

7. How many babies? Not sure yet. My RE is torturing me by making me wait til Feb 18th for my first U/S. I would totally love twins. We want two and that would mean not having to do this again!

3. What were your sperm counts post-wash, and motility? can't remember, but it was donor sperm so it was pretty top-notch
4. What medications were you using if any? Follistim 125u every day for 2 days then 75u every day
5. What day did you get your BFP? 9.5 dpo
6. First couple Beta numbers? 77 at 12dpo, 228 at 15dpo
7. How many babies? Should find out on Monday!

I promised that if I was ever successful in my attempt to become pregnant I would post some hope. The two years I tried and tried were extremely difficult for me, and I searched the web over and over again for people whose story was like mine. I started TTC at the age of 31, the summer of 2005. After about 8 months I started charting my temperature. In Oct 2006 I had an HSG test which came back normal, they checked my thyroid which was normal, and my hubby's sperm passed the test too. In January 2007 I went to the fertility doc. Had a post coital test in March, it was normal. Was diagnosed with unexplained infertility, with plans to have a lap if 3 attempts of IUI didn't work. I took clomid and had a trigger shot with my IUIs, and was finally successful on the 3rd try. I had 3 mature follicles and the sperm count was good...can't remember the exact number. I received my IUI on cycle day 17, 24 hours after the trigger shot. I waited until 17 dpiui to take the pregnancy test and it was positive. I felt EXACTLY like I was going to start my period...same cramps and lower back pain as all those failed attempts before...I mean EXACTLY. My first beta was in the 200 range, and it doubled normally from there on out. I went to the RE for an ultrasound at 6 weeks and we saw one little adorable peanut. I am now 35 weeks along, counting the days until my son is born to me. I realize my 2 years of infertility is longer than most, but so much shorter than many. Good luck all, and try not to kill yourself with worry. I just remember thinking, if I only knew it will happen one day, I don't mind waiting and waiting. You will become a mommy one way or the other...just keep telling yourself that fact!!

Dont know, u/s is sheduled on feb 26

Yeah Eager!!! I'm so happy that this worked for you and I'm thrilled to see that it worked on IUI #1! Unfortunately, heartache comes with the IF territory, but I'm so happy to see a happy ending. I'm going for my first IUI in about a week and a half. I'm trying to balance positive energy with the reality that it may not work on the first shot, but I was starting to feel crazy for even hoping that it would work the first time. I am so happy to see your happy news, it helps to validate my optimism!

I see your HB ultrasound is coming up, let me know how this goes.

This is such a wonderful idea!!

Before this I had 4 cycles of Clomid (no ovulation) then 2 successful IUIs after Gonal F - but the first was a m/c and the second a chem. preg. Here are the details for this recent and hopefully LAST round!!!

1. How many IUIs did you do? 1
and intercourse the next day

2. How many mature follicles did you have? 3 - all between 18-22mm

3. What were your sperm counts post-wash, and motility? 111mil. (don't remember motility - but the doctor told my dh he has "super sperm"...he LOVES that!)

4. What medications were you using if any? 150iui Gonal-F for 14 days & trigger. Also take 1500mg of Metformin, 1 baby aspirin, folic acid, fish oil, prenatal vitamin, and calcium daily.

5. What day did you get your BFP? 14dpi

6. First couple Beta numbers?
14dpi - 81
16dpi - 168
18dpi - 333

7. How many babies? I am pretty sure it's just one, but we'll find out on 2/25.

#1 Chemical Pregnancy
#2 Preterm labor at 22 weeks 3 days possibly due to cervical incompetence. The baby didn't make it through delivery
#3 BFP - currently on 16dpiui

IUI #1: I think I had 3-4.
IUI #2: 2
IUI #3: 2

3. What were your sperm counts post-wash, and motility?

We use donor sperm. I don't remember exactly what they were. The first 2 IUIs were the same donor and the counts were good. This last one was a different donor and the counts were "excellent". I want to say 225mill, but I'm not sure if that's right. I wasn't paying all that much attention.

4. What medications were you using if any?

IUI #1: Follistim (50 - 75 IU), Ovidrel
IUI #2: Follistim (50 - 75 IU), Ovidrel
IUI #3: Gonal-F (75 - 112.5 IU), Dostinex (my prolactin was high), and Ovidrel

5. What day did you get your BFP?

IUI #1: BFP via beta on 14 dpiui - miscarriage same day
IUI #2: BFP via hpt 12 dpiui, positive beta 14 dpiui
IUI #3: BFP via hpt 11 dpiui and 13 dpiui, positive beta 14 dpiui

IUI #2:
1st Beta: 152 (14 dpiui)
2nd Beta: 454 (16 dpiui)
