BFP Status for IUI's
Hi Everyone,
This is our place to come and see everyone's history before and after they got their BFP! By answering the following questions you could help those patiently waiting for their BFP. Please answer the questions below: 1. How many IUIs did you do? 2. How many mature follicles did you have? 3. What were your sperm counts post-wash, and motility? 4. What medications were you using if any? 5. What day did you get your BFP? 6. First couple Beta numbers? 7. How many babies? Best of luck to everyone! Can we add another question as well? What medications they were taking when they got the BFP, if any meds.

Me: 37-- (FSH 9.7 on day 4, and 7.9 on Day 10) DH: 40-- Everything Good Candy, 12 year old mutt girl Raider, 5 year old crazy catTTC 2 years Started acupuncture 11/2006 11/2006 - 4/2007 Clomid all of them BFN 5/2007-- Started Femara 6/16/2007 7/20/2007 miscarriage 7/2007 - 10/2007--tons of tests, everything came back ok 11/2007,12/2007 ---BFN--femara, hcg shot 12/26/2007--IUI #1 femara, hcg BFN 1/2008; 2/2008--IUI #2 & IUI #3---Gonal F, femara, hcg-BFN 3/2008--- acpuncture and herbs 5/5/2008-- HCG --708, Progesterone 8.3 starting on suppositories!! Got the BFP au natural!!!5/13/2008--HCG 14,275 Progesterone 18.7!!! 5/18/2008--started bleeding so emergency u/s on 5/19/2008...heard the heartbeat and baby measuring perfect!!! 5/27/2008---baby measuring perfect at 7 weeks 4 days, and heart beat 160bpm!!! 6/30/2008--NT scan, baby measuring perfect at 12 weeks 6 days (a few days ahead) HB 160bpm!! EDD: January 9, 2009

This is a great idea! I wish it was around earlier!
1. How many IUIs did you do? 4 2. How many mature follicles did you have? 1 @ 22mm 3. What were your sperm counts post-wash, and motility? I think around 50mil. motility was ok but high abnormal count at 94%. 4. What medications were you using if any? Puregon 100iu Ovidrel trigger and DH was on menevit (Increased his numbers (went from just ok to around 180mil!!!) and motility but didn't improve abnormal ones) 5. What day did you get your BFP? 15th January, best day of my life!!! 6. First couple Beta numbers? Started at 3 on jan 15th, 140 on Jan 21 and 4800!!! on feb 3rd. 7. How many babies? don't know yet, I have my scan in a few days! Hope this helped!

Me: 23 PCOS & Endo DH: 28 Sorta Normal (SA-94% abnml) TTC: 3 yrs natural, 3 years with ObGyn-RE 6 cycles clomid 50 - 150 nothing.  2 cycles clomid 50 - 100 & met 500 - 1000- nothing. 2 cycles clomid 100 & met 1500- ovulated first cycle, BFN. 2nd cycle nothing.  1st IUI, puregon 50 - 75 pregnyl. 1 follie.  2nd IUI, Puregon 75 - 100 Ovidrel. 1 follie. 3rd IUI, Puregon 100 Ovidrel. 1 follie 4th IUI, Puregon 100 Ovidrel. 1 follie on 15th January. 1st Beta 15th Jan - 3, 2nd Beta 21 Jan - 140, 3rd Beta 3 Feb - 4800. 1st u/s on 8th Feb. Showed nothing in uterus, rushed in for surgury. Ectopic, removed baby and ruptured Left tube. 7wks 5days  5th IUI, Puregon 100 - cancelled - 5 big follies between 17.8 - 20.2mm. Great idea!
1. How many IUIs did you do? 3 with Injectables, 1 with clomid 2. How many mature follicles did you have? 5 nice big ones! 3. What were your sperm counts post-wash, and motility? Not sure the nurse said she doesnt count but they looked good! And we BD three times, once after each IUI and then once the day after the last IUI! 4. What medications were you using if any? 300 iu of Gonal F and metformin 5. What day did you get your BFP? January 16th, CD27, 15 dp IUI 6. First couple Beta numbers? 57, then one day later 80, three days later 198, then three more days later 642 7. How many babies? they only saw one, but ya never know! we got for our second u/s this friday to see the hb, we might even see a second pop up, DH would pass out!I hope this helps and cannot wait to see all the BFPs to come! It seemed like we had a lot of good IUI cycles this month!

What medications were you using if any? Menopur - 150mg x2 days, 75mg x 3days, back up to 150mg x5 days, then trigger shot 5. What day did you get your BFP? 13dpiui 6. First couple Beta numbers? 59 on 13dpiui and then 144 15dpiui 7. How many babies? 1st ultrasound on 2/25

holly  Me - PCOS, low progestrone DH - Basically perfect 12/15/06 - Natural cycle, lost HB at 10.5 wks D&C. 11/9/07 - Natural cycle. Oral Progestrone, lost HB at 7 wks D&C. 1/19/08 - 1st IUI with Menopur and trigger (1 follie 18 mm) THE ONE LITTLE EGG THAT COULD! 2/1/08 - 2/1/08 - 13dpiui beta 59, progestrone 8.4 2/3/08 - 15dpiui 144 2/25/08 - U/S - 1 strong heartbeat 3/3/08 U/S #2 - still doing well! Graduate to OB 3/19/08 U/S #3 - wiggle and moving! Reducing meds on 3/22. Stopped on 3/29 We're having a BOY!!! Jaden Peter R.

2 2. How many mature follicles did you have? 1 3. What were your sperm counts post-wash, and motility? not sure, no sperm issues with DH though. So motility was good and count 4. What medications were you using if any? None 5. What day did you get your BFP? We were on a two month break I was doing acupuncture, and even though they told me I would never concieve on my own.. WE DID!!! I was a day late for my period and took an HPT 6. First couple Beta numbers? I think 231 then 690 7. How many babies? 1 baby girl due June 24th!

Ob appts. everything a/ok all tests have come back great!!! It's a GIRL!!! IUI status
How many IUI's?
Only one How many mature follicles? 9-11 (yes, they were all putting off estrogen and all ready to fertilize)! Sperm count after wash? Motility? 84, 000. 40%. Meds? We used injectibles Day BFP? day 13 Betas? 125, 330, 900 How many babies? One little peanut!!! Good luck to all of you IUIers this month!!!! IUI's do work!!!!
