Starting a New thread for anyone doing their IUI this week.

I had my second IUI Wednesday (6/4). The IUI itself went well. Barely had any cramping. I'm having little twinges that feel like gas - but nothing more major that that. Trying not to over think it!!

When will you test? I'm afraid to test before 10 days past IUI b/c of the faint line/false positive.

ME: 33, unexplained infertility - Mild PCOS
DH: 34, low sperm, low mobility
Furry Babies: Brutus (dog - Rhodesian/bulldog mix), Indy(dog - Staffordshire
Terrier/? mix), Mattie (cat)
IF History:
2yr TTC naturally
1/08 - 2/08: 50 mil Clomid - no O
2/08 - 4/08: 100 mil Clomid - no O - had to take provera to start P
4/08 - 5/08: 150 mil Clomid - finally O! TG!
1st IUI
5/08 - 6/08: 150 mil Clomid
US CD 5 and B/W - uterus looks normal
Mild PCOS - may start metformin next cycle
6/6/08: CD 15 had US = 2 follicles - good size trigger shot (first time)
6/7/08: IUI sperm count good
6/8/08: IUI sperm count excellent!
6/9/08: praying

Hi All - I am new to this, I had my IUI on June 27 and am due for my bloodtest Tomorrow July 11. I want to take a HPT but worry that its not going to be accurate. Anyone took HPT 10dpiui and got BFP and was accurate to blood test?

Ans to your question is..at 10dpiui you may or you may not get accurate result. Because the Hcg signal may not be strong enough for you to detect by hpt. But generally after 12 dpiui...many women( not all) get some result.
