Letrozole w/trigger or without?

Anyone know...is it better to use Letrozole with an HCG trigger (like Ovidrel) or will it work without one?

You can ovulate without the trigger, but my RE is going to use the trigger to better time my ovulation for IUI.

The HCG trigger is to make you ovulate. Some people ovulate on their own, but are not sure when so with doing the HCG trigger you know when you will ovulate. I am on my second round of letrozole, HCG trigger, IUI. I go on Thursday 11/6 for u/s to see if follicle are ready. If they are then I will get my HCg trigger and do IUI on Friday. Doing the HCG trigger takes the guess work out of it. Good luck. Looks like we are very close together with our cycle.

letrazole

when I was on femara last month I had 2 big follies in my LO and I was supposed to trigger but decided not to because I don't have a left tube.

I ended up with 3 cysts on my LO when I went for my cd2, which I believe would not have been there, if I had triggered. So I am all for triggering.
