Hi, I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that is taking or have taken femara plus bravelle inj? I need some hope on this cycle considering this is our 7th IUI and first one with this combo and that it is going to work this cycle.

I havent taken this protocol yet, but I might at some point since I have bravelle in my cupboard and my doc likes femara. I can say that femara seems to produce 1 or 2 really good follies in my experience.

What are your dosages and days?

I'm not sure yet. On my last day of femara then I got to Dr on the 21st for ultasound then they will tell me dosage and how many days.

Praying that this is my last time.

Hi! You're sig looks almost just like mine! I did the 3 rounds clomid, 3 rounds femara, now if this last one doesn't work, I am moving on to #7,8,9 with Femara plus Bravelle. Can you tell me how it's working for you? I'm a little freaked out about the injections.

Also, out of curiosity, why does you doc still have you doing IUI's? Mine said to move on to IVF if we had the money, but we don't. I feel like it's crazy to be doing this many IUI's if they're not working.

I go tomorrow for my ultrasound then I will start the injections. I've done one round of injections but was't bravelle. They are not bad. Dh does them for me and its a peice of cake. No worries. My RE did say move on to IVF but at this point we can not afford it. So I'd rather be doing IUI's then nothing at all. So here we are doing number 7. I that it works this time. Hopefully the IUI will take place at the end of next week. It's always hurry up and wait.lol

Thanks littlebean! I hope they aren't bad. Same situation for us. We can't afford the IVF. I hope the extra support from the Bravelle works. I will make DH do it too. Thank God we have them around for all this support! What are the vaginal suppositories for, if you don't mind my asking?

From what I've been told the supp help make it a comfy environment after implantation and helps prevent miscarrages. This is the first time that I will be on it and I'm hoping that it's going to make the difference.

As you can see by my sig that I did't end up having to do the bravelle inj. The femara worked all by itself. I was hoping to have more than 1 egg wich was a disappoinment but it only takes 1 I guess. So we will see. IUI tomorrow.

Littlebean, how's it going? I started the Bravelle two days ago. It's not too bad, kinda hurts, but I'll go through whatever it takes! Best wishes this month!

well on my 5th iui the RE added bravelle on cd9 only one injection after the femara on days 3-5 and instead of having 1 or 2 follies around 19 and 20 i ended up with 3 follies... sizes were 20,,,,,23 and the third was too small but... anyway we are trying the same with this iui..i start my femara tomorrow Good Luck to all of you

LITTLE BEAN!!! Congrats! You give me LOTS of hope!!! I skipped December (had a lot going on) but am going in for my 8th IUI starting with my first ultrasound tomorrow! Fingers crossed this is it for me, just like you!!! AGAIN, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
