Femara... HELP!
I am going to drive myself crazy with this question until I can call my RE office in the morning, so any help would be great.
I just looked at my schedule for this cycle (my 1st cycle of meds) and I dont start the Femara till CD 8. I normally have a 23 day cycle. I am scheduled for 5 days of Femera then 5 days off then trigger shot on my CD 18. I normally ovulate on CD11 or CD12. This doesnt make since to me unless the Femera slows my ovulation process down a bunch. If not, I will have already ovulated naturally prior to when they want to give me the trigger shot to ovulate. Does Femera stop ovulation naturally? Or did my RE office mess up?

Did you get an answer from your RE? I've always taken Femara cd3-7. I too tend to ovulate between cd10 and 12 ~ it was the same while on Femara. I'm doing my first inj. cycle now and that seems to have delayed ovulation. KUP!

They said that due to taking Estrace this passed weekend, it should slow everything dobn. When I did my Baseline u/s on Wednesday I was flatline (no dominet follicle yet) So they said that everythnig was as it was supposed to be. But I did get a "high" on my CBEFM this morning so I am hoping that tonight when I start the Femera pills it will slow me down more as I dont want to ovulate before the follies have had time to grow. The RE assured me that it was going to be ok and I will definately need the trigger to ovulate after I get the meds in me. So keep your fingers crossed for me.
I just figured out in my mind that I am doing an IUI cycle without the IUI... LOL. I guess I dont have my mind quite wrapped around all of the proceedures yet. So I might join a IUI forum? What do you think?

mbaggett - I took femara days 3-7 and it sped things up for me. I looked at my RE like he was nuts when he predicted my O time, but I think he was right. Might have been off my a little, but he was mostly right and it was early for me. I guess sometimes you have to trust the docs! But it's really good to question things and do your own research. Every woman is different.
