TTC #2 ! Tested on Sep 5th & got a  MC on Oct 9th  Started Femara 2.5mg June 6th Tested July 2nd.....  July 22nd still no AF ...... Femara 2.5mg=NO ovulation!!!  Started Provera on July 24th 8/7~ Started Femara 5mg 8~17 Had my first ultrasound and foud 2 follicles. One in each ovary. Right~12 & Left~10! 8~20 Second ultrasound left follicle = gone. Right follicle = 20!!! 8~25 Progesterone 17!  9~2  9~4 Pregnancy blood work drawn 9~17 First Ultrasound Appt! 9~8 Beta = 106! Progesterone 28! Looks like little bean is here to stay!!!

hi guys
i tested today and it was negative. i am bummed but i am going to wait a couple of days and test again, but my period has not started so i am still hoping. i will let ya'll know. thanks for all of the support.

Mar~ Sorry! Maybe its just to early and your retest will be different.

Hopefully AF will stay away for all of us and we all get our BFP. Don't lose hope Martip!
I had my progesterone check today and my levels are better then last month but still low, 14. So I had to get suppositories from a compounding pharmacy and it cost me $70. I have to use them twice a day so this is going to be fun!!!

Valerie We have unexplained secondary infertility. DH - Low end of normal concentration, good motility, morphology and count. Me-right tube possibly blocked? 7/4  7/11 first RE appt 7/24 LH surge 7/31 progesterone test (lvl 9) 8/6 8/8 Femara 8/18 5 year wedding anniversary! U/S showed 2 mature follicles, one on each ovary. Had to do my own HCG shot at 10pm! 8/19 LH surge! 8/20 IUI today! 8/28 Progesterone 14, start suppositories 9/4 9/6 9/8 Femara 9/18 U/S, 3 follicles, 22mm, 14mm, 13mm 9/19 Trigger at 10pm 9/21 IUI at 10am 9/23 started progesterone 10/4

well no luck this month, my period started today. back to the doctor tomorrow to start all over again. maybe i will have better luck next month. i wish you guys much luck with your testing and i will let ya'll know what happens next. thanks

I just now got my test results from my Progesterone check. It came back 17 which they said meant I did ovulate so thats good to know! 3 more days until I test... I am getting nervous!

Hello Ladies
I just started my first round of Femara today. I'm excited but nervous in some ways. Did any of you have any side effects from this drug? I just switched RE's due to the old RE wasn't doing his job correctly an I'm peaved off about it too. Lost money. He had me taking Clomid an never once seen a BFP at all due to what he was doing. So hopefully now things will be different with new RE due to what he found an etc.. He's really careing an etc.. Good Luck everyone.. u all get very soon.

DH 44 LSC, Normal Morphology, Motilty low at times and low testosterone put on Clomid One bio child Happily Married (16+ yrs) TTC (over 9+ years) 2009 3 IUI's failed  Med done so far Clomid & Femara DH SA Dec Appointment 9th DH BW coming Dec DH goes back to his doctor Jan 8th old fashion way for now soon get the OK from other doctor to start IUI again. New Start 2010 Start IUI Hopefully FEB Taking time away from boards..

Hi Ladies! I'm just about to start Femara and feel every encouraged!! Congrats Hazel!!!! This will be our first Femara/IUI cycle. We made the decision to go with it mid-cycle :/ so I have to wait a few weeks before starting anything. MORE waiting

Congratulations Hazel! I'm so happy for you!
I took my test this morning. I guess I've felt in my gut that I wasn't preggers so I kept putting it off. I had to test today because if it was negative then I have to go for the blood test to confirm so I can stop the progesterone so my period can start. It looks like my insticts are right, the HPT was a .I don't have much hope in the blood test being any different. It just sucks that we went through all of this and then we get nothing. We conceived DD with no problems and here we are two years out from ttc baby #2. No one can tell us why we're not getting preggers. I was so happy the day of IUI, you just start thinking after the Femara, HCG trigger, DH's sample was good. Hell they put it right into my uterus, how could I not get pregnant from it? I guess I'm just down today and the thought of going through this another month is depressing. I'm not even sure if I can get into good spirits again for it.

Congrats on the one that got a BFP.
Trying this one last time on asking this question. I started taking Femare2.5mg 2 pills a day 3-7 did anyone have any side effects from it? Thanks

Hot flashes is really the only symptom I had from Femara. Much easier than taking Clomid.
