i had a few hot flashes and a little bit of nausea. but i am on my third day for the second time and i haven't had anything this round.

sorry about your negative test i understand the disappointment but hopefully next month we will be pregnant.

How many pills did you all have to take?

How many follices did you all have?

I've aways had just one this med will cause me more.

I'm taking 2 pills a day which is 2.5mg each.

So far think today starting to have some hot flashes. that this med works for us. Already done 50mg Clomid & 100 mg Clomid with another RE an always a BFN.. So we changed RE and he started me on this drug.

Again Congrats to the ones that got a BFP.

Sly~ I was also taking 2 pills (2.5mg) a day. I started out with just taking one pill and I NEVER even ovulated! When I had my follicle scan the fist time I had 2, but the second scan only showed one.

i am also taking 2 pills a day at 2.5 mg. i had 2 follicles but the right one was small, but i did ovulate in august. my progesterone was 20

Did two cycles of Clomid - no success and bad side effects. This is my first cycle on Femara. Took 2 x 2.5 mg from day 3 to day 7. I'm now on day 11. Three follicles - ranging from 17 to 21. No noticeable side effects. Will be having a trigger shot tomorrow.

Question to you all that takes this med.
When you was taking this med did you have any feelings in ovaries that it was working?

Reason asking is because at certain times I have some cramping feelings in them but not bad. So this cycle works for us..

Waiting for a long time to get a so hopeing this will be it. After over 8yrs it gets hard.

that me and DH finds out we are close to end of Sept on this IUI when have it.

IUI suppose to be around 13 or 14th of month.

The best thing about Femara is that it has little to no symptoms. As with Clomid you'll be think you're pregnant because it makes you feel pregnant up until your period starts.

The only symptom I had on Femara was hot flashes and they went away shortly after ovulation.

You should be going for an ultrasound around CD 13 or 14 to see if you have any mature follicles, if so then you'll probably get a trigger shot which makes you release those follicles. Most docs do IUI 24-36 hours after the trigger.

I start Femara today I am very scared but willing to do try anything! I have had some bleeding during sex. does that count as a period? The blood is bright red! I havent had a period since July!

vangel34 When I first took 50mg Clomid I had slight hot flashes an slight headaches. Well next time I done 100mg Clomid I had hot flashes til I would sweat, little headache not hardly any but when it came time to ovulate the last time on Clomid oh my gosh did it hurt an when AF showed up, she didn't give me no warning just boom there she was. I ended up switching RE due to some stuff an the new RE put me on FEMARA 2 x2.5mg an he said for me to start doing a home ovulation testing on the 10th day an when see LH Surge to come in for ultrasound the IUI but if don't see no LH Surge by this Monday have to go in for a trigger shot so hopeing get my Surge so don't have no shot.

So far on the FEMARA I've had a few hot flashes but not bad at all not sure if this normal or not but did have the runs from it to now that stopped. Now for a 2 days have slight pain in ovaries at times but not bad but feel like it is working.

this meds does it trick.

Hello ladies... I just wanted to post an update. I got my lab results and my Beta is 106 And Progesterone is 28 ! So looks like this little bean is here to stay!

Awe Hazel I'm so happy that things are going well for you. I was just thinking about you today and was going to send you a message checking up on you.

I feel a lot better today and am getting excited about doing another IUI cycle this month. I start my Femara tonight and will have my U/S on the 18th.
