Hello. This is my second time on Femara. I am on CD 3 right now. Anyone else close?

Yay! I'm already having terrible headaches, but that's not unusual for me. Good thing it's pre-ovulation though and I can still take my excedrine.

I am excited though, we're doing IUI this month and my first u/s is on our 5 year wedding anniversary which is next Tuesday.

I have an u/s next Monday! LOL To see if anything is going to block me from ovulating I think. There are so many things I tend to get some mixed up... I have to get blood work next Friday to check and see if I ovulated?!?

I don't know if these are Femara symptoms but I've been so tired, dry mouth and I have to pee a lot. It could be a combination of Femara, allergy meds I've started taking and just being worn out from being on this emotional rollercoaster.

All in all, it's still better then clomid symptoms, lol.

It's already Wednesday, not much longer for our u/s. I hope we both get good news!

Yep only a few more days! I have to say I haven't had any symptoms on Femara. Or at least I haven't noticed them. LOL

What will they be looking for with your u/s?

Uh! It just feels like this month is going by really fast yet the TTC is going slow..... I really HOPE this is THE month for BOTH of us! Then we could be pregnancy buddies, now that would ROCK right?!?

We're doing IUI this month so the u/s is to see if I have any follicle and if any are ready, if so I get an HCG shot and then IUI 24-36 hours later. If not I have to go back a few days later for another u/s. I hope it's all a go on Tuesday.

Pregnant buddies would be nice wouldn't it!

It's been a very stressful week! I was on vacation from Friday through today (Tuesday). I had to argue with comcast all week to get them to come out and the earliest they could come was today, which is our 5 year anniversary.

To make the day go better I go for my ultrasound at 8:30 and end up waiting an hour before seeing the tech, all in all I didn't get out of there until 11am and I had a dentist appointment at 10:30.

So for my ultrasound I had 2 mature follicles. The ultrasound in itself was a bit uncomfortable because she had a hard time seeing my right ovary, it was hiding behind my uterus. Anyhow, the doctor liked what she saw and scheduled us for IUI on Thursday.

However, I had to give myself a shot!!!! I was freaking out, I really thought I could do it. It was my HCG and I had to do it at 10pm for my IUI Thursday at 10am. In the end I had hubby stick me with it in my thigh and then I administered the meds and pulled it out. I just couldn't go through with sticking it in my leg.

Anyway, I was able to reschedule my dentist appointment later in the day and found out I have to have a crown. I came home in tears. They told me after insurance I would have to pay around $450.

So it's the end of the day and I'm exhausted. I'm glad the hard part is over (the injection) and now we just have to wait until Thursday. My boss is letting me take the whole day as sick pay so I can come home and lay down afterwards. She's a bit more understanding because she had difficulties conceiving her son. I feel very blessed and it's such a relief to not have to stress about taking off work.

I really feel like I'm rambling so please let me know if I said something that doesn't make sense.

Now tell me about your appointment. Did you get good news?

Oh my goodness Val!!! What a stressful week!

I have been stressed but not like you thats for sure! I went in for my u/s Monday and they couldn't even find my ovaries with it internal one.... So I know what you mean by uncomfy!! Mine are to hight up and over for them to EVER be able to see then with the internal one but oh no that NEVER keeps them from trying! UH! So anyways she used a normal one that, and she found one follicle in each ovary. They both measured small, one was 10 and the other was 12. I am going in today to have another u/s to see if they are growing. If not then the Femara has again let me down and I wont ovulate like last time! But if they are growing then that means I am just going to ovulate later then the "normal" 14CD! Which is what I HOPE!

Don't you love it when they don't listen to you!

I had my IUI today. Everything went smoothly, hubby's sperm was pretty good today so I think we have a good shot at it. Like I said before I did the HCG shot Tuesday night, by Wednesday morning I got my LH surge so I know it's working. From my u/s I think I had one good size follicle on each ovary.

So now I'm just laying around and taking it easy hoping sperm meets egg. I've been talking to my tummy, lol. "Swim swim little fishies"

Now I'm in for the 2ww, I hope you can join me soon.

Great news! Glad the little swimmers are doing good. HEHE!

I went and had another u/s this afternoon. The follicle that was on my left ovary disappeared.... BUT the one in my right one is now 20! So I was told to let the BMS begin!!! So I will soon be in the 2ww with you girly! What on earth are we going to do for 2 whole weeks?!?!

Between the HCG, Femara and IUI I feel so bloated, ugh. I'm not sure but something is putting pressure on my bladder, it's either my uterus or my ovaries. I really hope I'm pregnant so I don't have to go through this again. It's been a long 2 years.

Anyhow, I hope that large follicle is the magic one for you! Here's some and and hope that we'll both get our .

When do you think you'll test? DH wants me to wait until the first Friday in September so he can be here.

I have to go back Friday for progesterone check.

I have felt really bloated too! I keep telling myself its all the meds and not . (sorry I just love all these smiles!) LOL

I go on Tuesday for my progesterone check. Do you know what the numbers mean? Cause I sure don't!?!

I plan on waiting until is due which is around the 5th. I don't know if I will be able to hold out until then but I am going to try.
