just found out that my insurance only covers iui. ivf is not covered, only infertility meds. if i dont get pregnant this round, we will have to pay for the ivf. i have done my crying and praying already for the day. i have to stay positive. i took a home pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. im kinda down. i go back to the doctor on monday to take a real pregnancy test. could be surprised, the results could be different. All things are possible with God. im over crying. now trying to prepare myself if this iui does not work. credit cards are prepared for the damage.

Annie, I'm so sorry for your bad news. Keep in mind annual enrollment is coming up for insurance so maybe one of the plans offered to you will cover IVF.

I'll be for you that you get your soon.

Maybe the IVF won't be as much as you think since you'll probably be covered for all the testing and some of the meds. I know that if we didn't have infertility coverage that we wouldn't be doing any of this so I definitely realize what a devastating disappointment this is for you.

Hopefully Monday will be your lucky day and mine will come the following Monday. I'm exactly a week behind you.

Hi watts. I am new to this site as well. I can tell you this.l I took clomid 50mg and got pregnant right away. Now I am taking femara 5mg days 3-7. This is my second month. I took a test this morning and it was negative. I think that the first time you use these meds you trick your system. If it is going to work, it will happen within the first 3 months. So, good luck to you.
