Hello every one I'm new to the site! I live in Birmingham Al. Me and my husband just got married and we have been trying to have a baby since last year! Well I just finished my Femara Yesterday!
I pray this works! I go for an ultra sound on the 16! Please Pray for us! I pray I get a on the 30! I was looking for a buddy! Anyone is welcome! We Need to just stay positive!

I just stopped in for a few mins to wish you tons of luck and sending you tons of Baby and your way. I took FEMARA from day 3-7 and tomorrow morning having my IUI. This was the first time me taking that drug so that we get a this time. We've been ttc for over 8+yrs. Will be thinking of you hun. This IUI will be #3 but this is now with a different RE. The first RE I had put me on Clomid an never seen a BFP plus found out somethings so switched RE. So in a way will be IUI #1 with this new RE.

Lets keep the PMA up so we all can get a this month...

I just took my last Femara pill this evening. We've had 3 unsuccessful IUIs (2 natural and 1 trigger shot), but this month is our first attempt at Femara. And we are actually taking a month off from IUI; just a personal and financial decision. So we decided to try this drug in the meantime. Best wishes to you & to all of us! I'm tired of being childless!

Hi, my name is Annie, i am new to this site as well. i was diagnosed with endometriosis in jan 09, had a laproscopy to remove it. i have been trying to get pregnant for almost 2 years now naturally. decided last month to move to infertility treatments. i am on day 15 of my cycle. i took femara from day 3 to 7. i had my hsg shot today to make me ovulate. i will have my iui tomorrow. i have prayed about all this and have put it in God's hands. if this does not work this month we will move onto ivf. thank God my insurance pays for most of this. i just have to come up with 20%. this alone still adds up though. i am also praying for u all. We all will see soon in Jesus name I pray.

i forgot to say on my other message: i have 3 follicles growing. during my last ultrasound the sizes were 31mm , 24mm, and 22mm. i was worried that these were too big but the dr told me they were good. nothing was wrong with the sizes. she said most likely all wont implant or be good eggs. she said sometimes follicles dont even have and egg in them.

This is my second cycle on Femara and will be my 2nd IUI. I too just finished taking them on Saturday. I have my ultrasound this Friday and hopefully IUI on Monday or Tuesday.

I woke up a feeling a little sick this morning, I don't think that's supposed to be a symptom from the Femara though, maybe something I ate?

Hi everyone, I took Femara/Letrozole this month too, 5mg CD 3-7. I actually like taking it much more than clomid. No aweful side effects and the response seems to be about the same. This AM I had my IUI, very crampy at the time and still a little crampy now on 1000mg Tylenol. SlyFoxy and anniebaby, how did your IUI go? Wasn't it this AM too? Do you get really crampy after? Also, does the RE perform the injection or an RN? Just curious. RN does it at our clinic. Good luck to you all!

JaidaGirl IUI went ok in someways. Had 4 follices this time which always had one follice last 2 times but I was with a different RE when was on Clomid an only one follice so switched RE an he put me on Femara 3-7 an I had 4 this time talking about being shocked.. RE was really happy to see me responding great to that drug an he said I would be a really good candiate for IVF.. SO if this IUI doesn't work we go back in 3 months to have DH done another SA an see how it looks since his count is low an movement slow. Then go from there.

this time works. Oh was ovulating while he was doing IUI so it was perfect timing. Just now have to wait.

Hi Watts#1! I have been TTC for almost a yr with my RE & we started out on clomid & found out I was clomid resistant. So this month I start Femara & Gonal-f with 2 trigger shots. I hope my folicles grow with these new meds so I can have my IUI. I'm for a !! I'm sending you & too!! Good luck to everyone & I hope you get your !!!

hi, i am annie. i have endo stage 3. i had a lap in jan 2009. i have been trying to get pregnant for almost 2 years naturally. decided to get help from an infertility clinic. i took 5 mg femara day 3-7. i am a little ahead of u. i had my hsg shot on sept 14 day 16. i go to get my progesterone checked on 21st, then a pregnancy test on 28th of this month. i have not had any obvious signs of pregnancy yet. cramping every now and then, but that is normal for me. will keep u posted. I've had 4 IUI's. My first 2 IUI's I cramped major during the procedure. On my 3rd IUI I had a different doctor perform the procedure and once again cramped. She told me next time to take 3 Ibuprofen an hour before the IUI (and Tylenol only after the IUI if need be) because cramping can cause you to push your husband's sperm back out. Well I took the Ibuprofen like she said before IUI #4 and I got a BFP. Not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but thought I would share this with you! Good Luck!

I too am trying another femara cycle this month. I go for u/s in am cd 12 went on cd 10 and had 3 follies on right 12, 17 & 18. Hoping for at least 2 mature 3 would be fab. This month is our best shot so far because my dh will actually be home for all of the days we need to bd (due to work travel), in the past cycles it has been hit or miss. So I praying for luck. Have beginnings of EWCM today but no surge today so hoping that we catch the o with the trigger before natural starts so that the timing will be right on. Will also be taking crinone beginning 3dpo (makes it 2ww more horrible because have to poas each cycle).
Does anyone know what a good response is in terms of # of mature follicles after femara stimulated cycle?

Hello my name is jennifer and i'm new to this site also. I finished my secound round of femara last week and went in for my u/s had 2 good follis on my left ovary. Tuesday at noon i took my trigger shot and my RE had us have intercourse 36 and 48 hours later..I took op test everyday and never got + but i am expierencing cramping on my left side. So i'm praying it's working! Now on my 2ww.
