femara headache?

I have been taking femara since sunday and have had a raging headache with dizziness. Now I had the clomid headache, hot flashes but nothing like this. It's almost like a migrain. (Although I've never had one) Now I have also had a virus since last thurs so i wonder if it's just that hanging on or my new meds. Any advice?

Exclamation oh the headaches!

Oh my Gosh Sarah...I am so glad you said that. I have been taking Letrozole for 3 days and the headaches are crippling! I called my Dr. and he said that it must be from something else because hat is not a common sid effect. I say !#$%*
I am able to take 2 Extra Strength Tylenol, but truly the only thing that has helped is a dark room with little sound...kinda like treating a migrain. Good luck, and know that you are not alone.

OMG! Very familar with med/hormonal triggers for migraines but haev no experience with Femara. Hope your head gets to feeling better!! I was on 50mgClomid that caused me to have very mild headaches during ovulation and AF; then my dose was tripled and I truely believe it triggered migraines even though my RE said the same thing, not a common side effect. That was the only thing different I ahd been doing that could have triggered them.... I'm currently on a break for now to get those straightened out!! Arghhhh.... Are you susceptible to headaches, tension or migraines?? If so, hormonal fluctuations tend to trigger them or make them worse!! I always took Tylenol or Excedrin for Tension headache (does not have aspirin in it). Good Luck!! Hope you feel better soon!!

I think my stress levels contributed to my headaches, some months are better than others.

I am so sorry about all your headaches. I took clomid and it gave me headaches- even migraines! I started going to a chiropractor about 3 1/2 months ago and I haven't had a headache since... I hope you all feel better soon. A cold compress on my head usually helped a bit.

I did not experience any headaches while taking Femara, but I am not susceptible to headaches either. I hope you ladies get some help with those because that sounds awful!!
