I have been taking femara for my last three cycles of treatment. I will also be using it along with my IUI later this month! It seems to give me stress headaches but that is the only symptom I have had.

I used Femara in March and got pregnant on the first try! We lost that little one, but we're trying again this month, so hopefully we'll get lucky and have a better result. I did not have any symptoms with it at all. Best of luck to you and keep us posted!!

Femara side effects.

yes, feeling tired could be a side effect of Femara, i've read that sometimes depending on your diagnoses, Femara and Clomid should be taken together for an increase chance, however if you're diong IUI maybe just one is enough, many many ladies are successful so hang in there!!!!!!!!
you can get also experts advice about this try FertilityTies at no charge, it might give some medical insight.
best of luck!

Hi,

I took Letrozole in 2006 10 pills in 1 day, 5 in the Am and 5 in the PM they of course were monitoring all along and told me when to do what. I also took 1 shot of repronex and then the ovidril to release the egg and IUI. On my 2nd try I got prego. The dr. changed it around a bit the 2nd time. I had no side effects. I Have a beautiful girl. I tried everything for 2 1/2 yrs with no luck. I call Letrozole the miracle drug for PCOS patients. Good Luck!!! Don't give up!!!

I actually did not have any side effects from it. My body reacted great to it...much, much better than I did on Clomid.
