Sara - Um, I have a belly already, but no one wants to see pics, I'm sure! Sorry, I just couldn't help but say that!!

I think this new thread is a great idea, and I'll be lurking here, hopefully to be a full member soon. (Well, not me so much as cubby, unless there's some part of this they haven't told me yet!)

I'm so proud of each of you, how you've handled the condition, the treatment, and now the positive results! Don't let anything get in the way of the great experience you're having right now!

Just wanted to say HI to everyone!!!

All of you guys are my motivation to keep my chin up and continue praying and moving forward in all aspects of my life not only the IF part. I know will have my baby one day just like all of you just not sure on the when part yet . You have all influenced my life so positively even when I couldn't find the strength to find something to be happy about so I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. So I am here to remain as the official cheerleader and hear all about the U/S, dreaded M/S or N/S belly pictures etc..... I love it all!!!!

Love you guys and thanks for letting me share your success stories with you it means the world to me!!!

I think this is a fantastic idea!! I hope you don't mind me checking over here every so often. As you all know and understand, there are days when pregnancy talk makes you run, but most of the time, I actually do like to read details...especially since I know I will be in your shoes someday (soon, I hope!!) Helps me prepare myself.

I am so happy for all of you and keep you and your little beans in my prayers always.

Lauren- Thanks for starting this wondering thread!

Jojo- I will be thinking about you. Is that the same as the tripple or quad screening?

Sara-I definatly have a big belly already. I started showing at 8 weeks. I wonder if all the IF meds had anything to do with it.

Faith- I was stopped taking progesterone at 8 weeks. A friend of mine stopped at 10 weeks. I was off everything the IF clinic put me on before i saw my OB. I would definatly give them a call.

Jen78- Good luck with your u/s tomorrow!! You will be fine. I didn't feel anything either. Oh and no question is dumb.

Hopprn- i will be checking up on you. Go Dr. Feelgood!

Ash- I know the feeling. I would be starving and only eat some of my food.

Cubbydh- You are too funny. My DH tells everyone that he is eating for three now!! Good luck to you and Cubby!!! I am always thinking and praying for all of you.

As for me my 21 week u/s is this Wednesday! I have had so many u/s already, so that is how i already know that it is a GIRL! I feel so big, so i will post an u/s pic instead!! I am really happy that this thread was started.

Jen78 - Your questions are not dumb. An Ultrascreen is a 3 step test that can 92% determine downs or trisomy without an invasive procedure like an amnio or CVS. The three steps are Blood which you have to prick your own finger and bleed on a card and send it in. I was a moron at this, I just couldn't stick myself. I have so much respect for the IVFers. I don't know how you did it. The next is the sono which for me is Thurs. They look at the nuchal folds and nasal bone and all of the other things that could be a soft marker for a genetic abnormality. Then they take blood again look at the three and see how the results fall on an index. Good luck on your u/s. I bawled like a baby when we heard the heart beat. It made me feel so much better.

Baby, Hopprn, Cubbydh, Kris - Thanks for your support! Lurk and post away!!

Rayne - I had all day sickness. It would start in the middle of the night all the way through about dinner time. It peaked around 2 pm when I thought I would die.

Sara - I am showing. I started around 9 weeks and now at 11 week it is so noticeable. I am a little fanatic about gaining weight so I have to remember that my clothes not fitting is not me getting fat. I am in that weird in between stage. My stuff doesn't fit but maternity clothes are huge. I am using the bella bands which have been doing the trick. I heard that about the ligament pain that it doesn't get better. I can only imagine the pain you have with the twins. How are you feeling?

Ash and Faith - Hang in there with the nausea. I can only eat carbs which led me to put on 10lbs the first trimester which is pretty ironic considering I was so sick.

Lauren -Be glad that you aren't sick. I hope you don't get it. I am sorry I am sure you have posted this. When is your first u/s?

I hope I didn't miss anybody.

JoJo: All day sickness sounds horrible! Ugh! I am almost 28 wks and STILL wearing my bella bands - they do a great job holding up a couple of pairs of maternity pants that are a little too big! Love them!! I have had round lig. pain off and on - painful, but tolerable! Lying down on my L side & walking around the house helps to alleviate the pain.

I love this thread!

What a great idea of a thread! Thanks Lauren for opening it.

Iīll be coming here to read about how you are all doing and I also hope that I can soon come here to talk about my sister and bilīs success with ISCI. Today I was talking to her on the phone and she was feeling apprehensive that now that they found sperm, the problem will be her (since she does not have her period unless she takes the pill). I told her not to worry about that (and I told myself the same thing too). Their appointment is on the 10th so Iīll let you guys know what they told her and once she has a schedule, Iīll share that with you and probably ask tons of questions.

Sorry about the morning sickness for you guys who are feeling it. My best friend went through that for the full 3 months of her pregnancy and it did not sound fun at all, let me tell you. However, I know that your perspective is probably different. morning sickness because that means you are , am I right?

And to all of you, please donīt let comments like that of singing girl get to you. You have been very acomodating and itīs just not fair you should be made to feel guilty about something like that.

to you.

Rayne- my glucose screening is at the end of December and i am dreading it. I have such a bad feeling that i won't pass it either. When i don't eat i feel really sick pg or not.

apasionada- Can't wait to hear your sisters good news. Tell her not to worry. They put you on meds to control what your body is doing. They were worried, because they said that it is hard to predict when i ovulated because my periods were off. Well they didn't have any issues once they put me on the meds!! I am that all goes well.

Hi girls, I am so happy everyone is so chatty on this thread it gives my something to read while I am laying here all day. I just got back from my growth check both babies are doing really well. My girl weighs 2 pounds 11 ounces and my boy weighs 2 pounds 15 ounces!! They were practicing breathing, which is great in case I have them early. We got pictures of their eyes and mouths open and the tech gave us some 4D pictures which are absolutely amazing, the look so cute!!! I dont have a scanner or I would post them.

Baby, Kris, Cubbydh - thank you so much for your kind words. I am praying that all of you get your miracle or miracles really soon!!!

Cubbydh - btw when we went to dr.schlegel the docs that do the surgery with him were so excited about these boards that praise dr.schlegel, lol! So if your up to it you can mention to them that you found him on here too. It was a young, petite, asian dr. that we talked to about it.

Tpbaby - Congrats on 21 weeks!!!

Jojo - Dont worry about gaining weight, you are preg!! I am very consious about what I eat when I am not preg. So I am living it up. I just ate a big mac from mcdonalds i dont think I have ever had one in my life and i must tell you it was the best thing ever!!!!

Rayne - I have my glucose test on Wed. I really hope I pass as food is one of the few joys on bedrest. that we both pass!!

Apasionada - I do not get my period for months if I am not on birth control pills. Does your sister have PCOS, that is usually the cause? If she does IVF actually works too well. What I mean is the docs have to be careful with your med dose because you are at a high risk of overstimulating (making too many follicles or eggs) As you can see from my signauture my first cycle was cancelled because I had over 30 follicles which causes your estrogen to be too high and that gets dangerous. The next cycle I had 21 eggs retrieved and 20 were mature - this is a really, really good amount of eggs. So your sister should have no problem making eggs they just have to watch and make sure she doesnt make too many. (i hope that made sense.)

Thanks for starting this thread... I think that it was a good idea... As I mentioned in the other thread, I was really sensitive about being around pregnancy-related stuff when we weren't getting p/g and going through t/x. It's a great compromise w/ the other thread, I think. Anyway--you can't please all of the people all of the time, but it's great to have this other hangout!

I'll try to write personals tomorrow... I am working on about 5,000 things right now! Ha!

Jen78--gl tomorrow!

Sara: Yay! So happy to hear that the babies are growing (almost 3lbs each!) and doing well and practicing breathing. Wow! Sounds like they are working hard inside your tummy. I will also that we both pass our glucose screens!

TPBaby: 22 weeks tomorrow! Yippee! You & I are in the same boat - totally dreading the glucose test. I feel the same way when I don't eat - sick - pg or not. I have always had strange reactions to sugary foods, but I cannot stay away from them! I had M&Ms for dessert after lunch today & a Crunch bar sitting on my desk is calling my name! Must resist temptation!

JoJo: I have always had "weight issues" and have always been very self-concious about my body... that is UNTIL NOW. I am so happy to see my baby bump popping out at me in the mirror - it's a concrete reminder of hurdles, obstacles, hardships, and blessings DH & I have endured over nearly a year. It's amazing how much extra storage is added to accomodate such a tiny little baby! Amazing!
