The doctor will be able to tell just by feeling around down there, as part of a quick physical exam. Nothing invasive needed. If he does have a varicocele, it is fixed through outpatient surgery. My DH had the surgery and was back to work 2 days later, and was completely recovered (able to go running, work out, etc) 4 weeks later. Good luck!

Me - 35 no known issues DH - 40 NOA 1.2008 Started TTC 10.2008 DH SA = zero! yikes! 11.2008 DH 2nd SA = still zero 11.2008 DH varicocele surgery 3.2009 DH 3rd SA = swimmers found 3.2009 DH 4th SA = swimmers found 4.10 Started stims for IVF + TESE, 4.14 added Ganirelix 4.22 ER, TESE not needed 4.25 ET, 2 beautiful embabies transferred 5.3 HPT says + 5.6 beta = 149!!! ![]() 5.13 2nd beta = 4639!!! 5.14 first ultrasound - it's a singleton due 1.14 5.21 2nd ultrasound - saw and heard hb! 8.3 it's a BOY!!! |
