What great news today!! 10 fertilized is wonderful. So will they call you daily with your fertilization report?

Anna- glad everything went so well. I think you can take a bath today. I tell you, the first cycle the shots hurt like crazy. They made huge lumps and I was up for hours at night in pain. I cried every day. This time, I laid down on my belly and we aimed a little higher, and I was fine. The bravelle hurt worse. Oh- and Trent massaged it really hard for 5 minutes afterwards. Hope you feel better. They also gave me pain killers after the retrieval. You didn't get any?

Saeedr!

No the doctor didn't give me any perscription pain meds. He said I would more than likely be able to handle it with tylenol. Now I'm second guessing his opinion.

I'm in a LOT of pain right now. Every position I attempt to sit/lay/stand in causes intense pain to my sides. It's getting worse instead of better, so we added Advil as a second med (alternating with Tylenol).

Matt is still acting fine! Praising God for that blessing. I think one whiner in the family is enough, and I'm definately whining today.

The Progesterone shot didn't hurt much at all. I still felt the sting a little when Matt injected it (He practiced on an orange before giving it to me!), but he rubbed it right away and then I took a LONG bath. So far so good!

Linaeli can't wait to hear your fertilization report tomorrow! They are supposed to call me tomorrow morning to let me know if the six embryos are holding their own.

Hope you all are doing well.

Ladies & now gentleman --- how exciting to have a man in our group!!

I have to say last night I was really down in the dumps wondering if I should even go through with this, but now with Tripps pg, Lin's great fertilzation report and Anna two steps right behind with some growing embies, I am feeling a heck of a lot better and even more geared to get things started (if only next week would arrive) LOL

Jen - darling not much longer for us to finally have one step closer. We may even be cycle buddies-

Maria - glad you are back, I was wondering what happened and was praying everything was okay.

Rc- how are ya? Sounds like you and Saeedr have a great dr.

Thanks your welcome note.
We are all going through same journey, male or female. I feel pumped up after joining this forum. Sharing our experiences may not only help us but at the same time it may guide others. I have tried testicular biopsy. But no sperms were found. After that I thought it is the end of world for me.
Still I kept searching the web for any available tech. for NOA treatment.
I cann't explain how much I was excited when I read about Jen, LineaLi and others.
I request you all to pass any info you feel might be helpful to others to cope with infertility.

Saeedr,

Did the dr.'s say why they think they didn't find any sperm during your biopsy?

I have to admit that is my fear as well. My LH has OA, but that fear is still there.

They only found like 2 in my husband's initial biopsy. I think vitamins helped. He's posted to this forum before. Feel free to contact him if you want. Have hope!

Anna- I wish I could give you mine. I only needed them for a day if that makes you feel any better. Is it ok for you to take advil?

I'm waiting on a call back from my RE. He is the one who told my husband we could alternate the Tylenol and Advil. I'm praying he calls back and calls me in a perscription...I just don't see how I'm going to get any sleep tonight - the pain is excruciating...

Anna, I feel like the pain is similar to gas pain. I only have mild pain but the position that relieves gas seems to make it feel better. (I'm sure with so many kids you know the drill) Try going on your knees with your tush up in the air. I hope it helps a little. Glad you embryos are doing well. My doctor won't freeze eggs only sperm or embies, isn't it strange how different they all are.

Just copying my response from the May cycle buddies... I can't sit here for long.

Doctor finally called me back aroun 9:45. He said that I'm one of the unfortunate ones that has a complication to the ER. He didn't say what exactly the complication was, or how long it would last... but he called me in a perscription for Tylenol/Codine. I've taken two tablets around 10:15 and am just praying that it kicks in here soon. I can take it every 4 hours. He said to work my way down to just one tablet by tomorrow if I can manage it.

It just hurts so bad! Here I thought I was doing so well... Hubby didn't need any perscription.

Did it work Anna?
Thanks so much Jen. I can't wait for them to call today with our time. My beta isn't going to be until May 16th. I am really going to try not to HPT but it will be tough with Mother's day so close to the day. I wonder if I ask the RE to switch the day to the 15th. It would be 2 weeks from ER. Tuesdays I work much closer to the office and I have much more supportive friends at that school.
