I believe the RE likes to have TESE done the day off or the day before your egg retrieval. DS is a tough decision but it can always be an option if necessary down the line. Praying for sperm and BFP's!

You're right the focus for now is lots of swimmers and strong embryos. If my hubby is any judge he thinks they are in there waiting to bust out.

They did our tese the day before my retrieval. Because of previous procedures in that area and scar tissue, that was our one chance at the fresh stuff. The doctor said they saved 3 vials. How does that compare with what you had?

Its frusterating we haven't started our cycle yet but I am just so worried about the swimmers that may or may not be found. Since his obstructive I can only think that there will be some, but how viable are immature sperm?

Dr kept me on same protocol and I go in again tomorrow. I'm not on Lupron this time- he changed me to antagon. Has anyone used that? I start taking it when they get to 13/14. Kuddleygal- will they do TESE then? I've heard of plenty of success with that. I am not one of them, but our doctors weren't sure they would find any with my husband's surgery, but after only an hour came out with "plenty". I'll never forget. It's kind of our own personal miracle. Don't stress! After all the research I've done, it seems like there have been successes in every case. When do you talk to the dr again?

Yes that is what Dr is calling for is TESE. I am trying to work around LH's schedule for next appointment to know what we are to do next. Our men and their jobs. I'm getting impatient.

The waiting is the worst! I just try to stay as busy as possible so I don't stress. I don't want to mess anything up.

Let me tell you that is all I do now is just keep myself busy and try not to dwell on it, which is ummm IMPOSSIBLE!
 But I keep saying the longer I wait the more I can work on my weight and that is what my dr (both RE and PCP) want me to do. So I guess its kinda a blessing in disguise in a sense.

Hey Tripp- I was a slow responder too but they did get 16 eggs from me and only six were mature. I am hoping for better egg retrieval results next time. I was never on antagon. Wishing you all the best hope your follies grow nice and big.
Syreeta-We had frozen immotile sperm and had 50% fertilization. No BFP but at least we got fertilization. Praying for fertile sperm and BFP's for all.
