Ok so I broke down and tested with an OPK that I had. I have no real POAS in the house. I got a definite positive on the OPK. I am not sure if this means anything so I am holding out and will go and buy a HPT and test tomorrow morning. Am I crazy or what????
Thanks guys for your cheers though!!!!

ljntor- I hope this is good news for you!!!

AFM, I am spotting very very lightly today. It is 11dpiui, so I don't have high hopes. I really didn't think I would feel this sad about it, but I guess I am. Now it is just waiting for to show up in full force. Is it dumb that part of me is still hoping this is implantation, and that I still have a small chance?

Laura- its a good sign--
Kris & alldel- for you also.

No strength for personals right now, me & my son have Influenza A (Dr said probably it is swine flu!! ) so we have been very sick! They put us both on Tamiflu which has helped extremely but still very weak! I'm supposed to have my FET next week so I am hoping this doesnt affect my immune system so much that the embies dont implant!
Hi to all, hope everyone is doing well!
More later!!

Tese+icsi

Raquel: I had hernia-like surgery during my childhood and was recently dx with Azoospermia after two failed SAs. My RE did the biopsy and found some sperms. Blockage due to scar tissue from groin surgeries seems the most likely dx, but I am not sure if U/S is enough to detect it. Did your DH have the surgery on both sides?

We are going for our IVF and TESE on the same day because the sperms retrieved during biopsy may not survive thaw. We just had our (microdose flare) cycle postponed because of cysts during suppression check (after BCPs). We have to wait 2 months before we can restart probably without BCPs. Did anyone have similar experience?

Me: 32 OA
DW: 32 endo.

Hopprn- Feel better!!!! I will be praying for you that you get rid of this real fast so that you can be ready for next week. I panicked last night when I wasn't feeling well that perhaps I had swine, as it is in quite a few neighboring towms of mine! Stupid swine!!!!! Take care of yourself!

hi everyone, i havent posted for a while but i sure have been reading..Iam glad everyone is well.

Im home today due to flu , i have been looking on the net all day today and its very depressing, we have decided to to do MTESE with DR Schelegl at Cornell in feb/march 2010, and i cannot find cheap accomodation in NY..the whole thing is just soooo expensive , we have delayed it to save some money until 2010 and with the australian dollar being low its going to be hard.
please pray for us so things can get eaiser.

you are all in my prayers!

I don't know why I torture myself!!!!! Of course I got a BFN this morning! But I did have another symptom of a bloody nose when I woke up this morning! I will wait now until my beta on Friday or if god forbid AF shows up! Thanks guys for dealing with my insanity!

Rose- maybe check into accomodations in NJ as you can easily commute to NYC from North Jersey within 20 minutes. Let me know and I can help you find something as I live in NJ.

Good morning everyone!

AllD, lj and Kris - waiting for that BFP trifecta! Lj, I think it is still a bit early for you, no? You are still in the game.

Diana - I've never heard about TESE sperm not working for IVF - if that was the case, why would docs even bother with TESE? It makes no sense. I'm sure "regular" sperm work better but lots of people on here have had success with TESE sperm.

ewebey - hooray for good genetic test results!

hopprn - swine flu?!?! hope it is just a little bug and you can get over it soon and still do your FET.

LeftUnder - sorry your IVF cycle was postponed. I have no experience with that but I'm sure someone here does. Good luck in a few months!

Rose - have you asked Cornell if they can help you find accommodations? They have a lot of out-of-town patients so they may have arrangements with some local hotels or something. When I had my ET I met a girl who was cycling from out of town.

My update - tomorrow I have my first appt with my old ob/gyn. The receptionist said they will do an ultrasound. This morning I donated all my leftover IVF meds to our clinic - I had a lot of unused meds, so I hope they will help someone without insurance!
