I'm sorry you are feeling so down. Have they recommended that you and your wife try IUIs or IVF. I couldn't tell from your post whether you'd tried any ARTs. We had both a male and female factor. My DH had low counts consistently but in particular 92% abnormal morphology. We were able to conceive our DD naturally after three years and some failed IUIs, and we're currently pregnant with No.2 after another three years and a number of IVFs and FETs.
I just want you to know that there may be options to try. If you are not fortunate to live in a mandated state then it may be costly, but these treatments have been able to help many people who didn't think they would be parents.
You've found the right place as there are a lot of supportive people here that may have some helpful advice or can at least understand how painful IF is.

thanks

many thanks am from uk so get some treatment currently my wife has to loose 2 stojne before fertility clinic do anything for her but urology told me that with a count as low as mine the chances of natural conception are v v low. However she ovulates and all the restand she has been charting so we know the prob is me only option would be ivf or iui but if you are not in the right area in uk not very likely to get it we both have children from previous relationships but my wife wants agirl and i feel i am leting her down i cant sleep at night worrying about it

I recently found out I suffer from azoospermia (0 sperm) and it has been devastating to both of us. I initially felt like I was letting my wife down as we don't have any children. After a lot of thinking I came to the realization that if the situation were reversed I would absolutely support and love my wife. I didn't marry her only for children, I married her because I loved her and everything about her.

If God/nature wants us to have a child then it will happen one way or another but if it doesn't there is always the option of adoption or donor sperm. I know both options aren't ideal but sometimes you have to play the hand you are dealt.

Wish you two the best.
