I posted on here back in Dec when DH was getting referred to a urologist. After out 2 month wait we finally saw the urologist and he did an examination and everything appeared normal and he said he found the vein (cant remember what its called) on each side coming from the testes. He said the testicles are normal too. He asked DH if he had trouble ejaculating or getting irrections...NO. If he had abnormal breast growth or sensitivity..NO. If he had slow hair growth..NO.
All the questions he asked would indicate a hormonal imbalance. (I put 2 and 2 together) So since DH could answer no to all those questions am I correct in assuming it's probably and obstruction? I sure hope it is an obstruction. But it sounds like you guys are all saying he should have a low amount semen if there was an obstruction. Also if there's a hormonal imbalance, I'm wondering if there is always signs & symptoms because online where i read up about it there was a list of things. Like, late puberty, slow hair growth, breast growth, low sex drive, low body mass...etc.. NONE of which are troubles for DH I can hardly wait for this next 2 months when we fnally will know the blood test results. |

I hope for you it'll turn out to be an obstruction. However, many guys suffering from a non-blocking cause haven't had any symptoms either. For instance, the Y chromosome microdeletion cases appear to be mostly asymptomatic.
