Ellipses Scared hurting and Baby lust

I am new to the forum thing. My husband suggested it after our last negative pregnancy test. I completly melted down in Walmart the other day after just walking through the baby stuff on my way to the shoes. I decided to leave and went to pay for my few items and every single line had a newborn or pregnant woman in it. Talk about pain! My husband and I have been trying for 4 years to no avail. my sisters and his all got pregnant right away and we of course are the oldest in each family. He has been diabetic since he was 11 and the doctor told us he has retrograde ejaculation something we suspected after things got a little odd after we had been married almost a year. Now we wish we would have just went ahead and had our baby right away. I have no friends who are going through the same thing or have just ones who keep getting pregnant so I thought that maybe this would help me deal and get more info. We want the baby God has for us and it hurts that it hasn't happened yet
Always praying

to the site! I think it is a very good idea to be part of a forum and especially this one. Everyone is so nice and very knowledgable. I have learned a lot. And while I can't help you with the male aspect, I can tell you that I feel your pain in dealing with everyone else getting pg before you. My younger sister, unmarried, jobless, and going no where in life, got pg a few months after my dh and I started trying. She is due next month and I am, sorry to say it, but dreading the day her baby is born. I know it will be very hard. Also, just Thursday evening, my mom called me to tell me that my 19 old cousin was pg. My immediate reaction was hatred! I can't help myself anymore. The longer it takes for me to get pg the harder it is to hear that someone else is pg. I would suggest joining a thread in the 'category' that fits you the best. Everyone on here is very helpful but it is most helpful to have others know exactly what you are going through! Good luck!

Welcome to the forum. I know what it feels like for everyone around you to be pg or has children. It's so hard and you feel guilty for not feeling happy about everyone else's pregnancy. My husband is also diabetic. He has had it since he was 15. The problem w/ him is the shape of his sperm. They are not able to penatrate an egg. We went ahead and did IVF w/ icsi, which worked, but as you can see w/ my signature, we ended up losing the babies. It's been a difficult struggle and now we are back at square one.

I was just wondering if you have seen a specialist and what did they say? There are several things that can be preventing you from getting pregnant and some may be quite simple to fix. Did your husband have a semen analysis? I don't know much about the retrograde ejaculation (I know what it is , but not sure of it's effect on infertility). I was just kind of wondering where you were at w/ testing and what they found. I found this site really helped me alot, just knowing that I'm not alone in my struggles.

We have just started thinking about doing testing and all that. But at the moment are struggling to find the means to do that. The problem with retrograde is that the semen reverts to the bladder and comes out in his urine stream. We are praying for guidance and direction on finding the RE to see what if anything we can do.

It does hurt when people everywhere are having babies. The worst part is that I work in daycare and I see so many kids that are just paychecks to their parents. This hurts the most.
