How long did you wait to have sex after varicocele repair?
How long did you wait to have sex after varicocele repair? I've only found one opinion online, and it said 3 weeks, which seems excessive.

Me: 26, Normal except for small partial uterine septum. DH: 24, Good count, poor-normal motility, and 0-6.5% morphology, depending on the SA. Level 1 varicocele found. 2 years of TTC.  10/09--DH's varicocele surgery successful! Now we wait to see if SA improves. Next SA 1/10.

Hi Anne--
Hope your guy is feeling okay... We waited a few weeks--can't remember exactly. My DH was sore for a good week or so. I don't think the thought entered his mind until the pain was gone. -Leigh

My big girl! 5/29 -- 4-month check-up: 19 lbs. even! & 26.5" / Somebody loves her mama's milk! 7/31 -- 6-month check-up: 21 lbs. / 4 oz. & 27.25" / she's now officially off of the growth chart! We love our big girl! 10/23 -- 9 months already?!?!?! 22 lbs. / 14 oz. & 28.75"

anne1140 I'm glad you asked that question and got your answer. I think I asked an didn't get no results so now I know what others said to you.

Me 38 No Issues. DH 44 LSC, Normal Morphology, Motilty low at times and low testosterone put on Clomid One bio child Happily Married (16+ yrs) TTC (over 9+ years) 2009 3 IUI's failed Med done so far Clomid & Femara DH SA Dec Appointment 9th DH BW coming Dec DH goes back to his doctor Jan 8th  old fashion way for now  soon get the OK from other doctor to start IUI again. New Start 2010 Start IUI Hopefully FEB  Taking time away from boards..

Hi
Hubby was in pain for about 10 days...but we waited about 3 weeks...He had the surgery last October and every once in a while gets a little sore. Good Luck!
