Morphology issues

When my husband and I started back treatment after 2 yrs of just letting it ride, the RE told us he had really bad morphology. His 1st SA came back with 5%(strict) and then we decided to do IUI. 1st IUI, SA showed only 1% morphology - failed IUI. 2nd IUI, SA showed 4% morphology, another failed IUI and I was on Follistim for 13 days and only produced 2 follicles- same amt. I did with 100mg of Clomid. So, for Oct. we decided to wait and see if his morphology improved since he stopped smoking in July. He went a few weeks ago and had a SA- his morphology was 11%(strict) I am so excited it has improved. My question is--- is this good enough to NOT do another IUI? I have PCOS and will require some kind of meds to make me ovulate and that's another question- why spend $1300 on Follistim and get the same response that Clomid did? Has anyone had success with these #s?
