sperm counts

Can someone tell me what a normal range sperm count
should be for a man of 46 years? And what effect pot smoking has on a sperm count. Thanks.

It seems that it's somewhere in the 10-20 million per unit, but I can't recall by what measure the units are either.

Marajuana effects are scientifically inconclusive. Some studies say it has no effect, while others state it has a negative impact on the motility (movement) of sperm. Males are at the advantage since they produce new sperm constantly and if any damage has been done to his current supply, after a time he can be "replenished" with uneffected sperm.

There are studies that show that the smoke of anything is harmful to a developing fetus and reduce the chances of successful implantation. So if you are serious about getting pregnant, avoid any situations where there is smoking of any kind.
