sad update

well...the roller coaster continues... we went in for our 10.5 week apt. no heartbeat. baby pased on a 6.5 weeks. We had no negative symptoms and were looking forward to hearing the heart of our baby.

the look on my wifes face today tore me apart. they removed the remains from her and will analyze the results....so while waiting for them I thought I would get checked out again (hopfully with better results than the last)

..I have another test at a much better facility next week and we will go in to her doc. with my new results and her results and see what we will see.

I am more angry than anything at this point. my wife does not deserve this...I am used to having bad luck...(cronic neck pains from a vertebre fusion at 15yr old, divorce w/ first wife, bad semen results-prior post, and just had a hemmoridectimy last week...and now this.)

Why does she have to endur this! so God willing..we will be tyring again in late Dec.

so...in 2.5 mths time I went from finding out we probably will not be able to conceive naturally (because of me) to being pregnant (naturally) to having a "silent" misscarriage...oh and did I mention that I had a hemmoridectimy last week? I am only 33...wtf?

my apologies if this post seems very "male typical" but I am just venting....have to remain strong for my wife.

For all of you going through fertility problems...I realize you probably have gone through much more than we have...so please understand I am not trying to compare what has happend to us to any of you.

We just had a horribly past few months ...I have to keep it together for my wife...so my tears will fall as I ride in to work alone each day.

thanks for reading...chuck

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. My husband and I suffered a miscarriage in March of this year also... and I know how difficult it can be. Take your time to heal. Good luck in the future!

Chuck,
That is very sad. I am so sorry for your loss. I have heard of people doing things like planting a tree or some other ceremonial thing for rememberance. We are all here for you in this time of grief.

Chuck,
I which there was something I could say to make you and your DW feel better. Nobody deserves to go through what you and your DW are going through. It kind of makes you wish you knew why G-D would play such a cruel joke on nice and decent people. Please know that we are all here for you and your DW if you need anything.

Im so sorry Chuck..vent away all you need to!! I know its easier said than done and we all blame ourselves at some point if we are the ones with the fertility issues but don't be so hard on yourself. Your wife loves YOU..if it were just her issues of why you couldnt conceive you would still love HER. We are all in this together.. I am glad that you both are not giving up hope... prayers to you both for your strength..we are all here for you

Chuck,
I'm so sorry to hear of the silent miscarriage. How awful to go in four weeks later just to find out that somewhere between your last appointment and that one the baby had stopped growing. Take the time that you need to grieve, both you and your wife, nothing is going to solved by being angry (this I know). Be there to support and strengthen each other in this time of need and when the time is right you guys can get back into the game. What a blessing to know that against all odds you were able to conceive naturally, that should give you hopes that it might work again. Wait for the results to determine the cause of the miscarriage and go from there. My prayers are with you.

Hi Chuck, you sound like my husband,he has had his bout of bad luck since he was young. He always asks, why can't just this one thing go our way. I feel for him and you.

I am so sorry to hear about the MC that is so awful I can't even begin to understand b/c I have not gotten prego yet. I will say one thing, your wife will get through this b/c she has such a wonderful and loving husband.

Hang in there, better days are coming!!!

I am so sorry for your loss. My DH and I lost our first baby 2 years ago. We went for a normal checkup and found that baby stopped growing between 5-6 weeks. I thought I was around 8 weeks.

I would like to say that my husband was a little "too strong". What I mean is, sometimes I wished he would shed a tear in front of me. I felt like having the opportunity to comfort him for once would help me be strong. Just a thought............just make sure she knows you feel it too! I wish you the strength to get through this together.

Chuck,

Oh, I am so so sad to read this! I have had 2 miscarriages and there is nothing more heartbreaking! I am hopeful that it will still work for you, as most who even suffer 2-3 miscarriages go on to have a baby. Hang in there, and I am so sorry for your loss!
