Where do we go from here?
My wife and I have been trying for over 2 years to no avail. Her doctors are all saying that she might have PCOS. They put her on 1500mg of Metformin. After a lot of stomach issues, she seems to be tolerating well.
We switched OB/GYNs about 3 months ago. He has a much more positive outlook on everything. He suggested that I be tested. I went to the local CORM office. The test revealed that I only had 50,000 sperm and they were all "dead". I was referred to a urologist. He checked the FSH and LH levels and all were normal. After the physical exam, he said that I had a very small vas coming from my left testicle. He ordered another test which I completed this morning. I am really scared. What does this mean? Where do we go from here? I guess I need a little encouragement. ![]() |

Hello,
I don't know about the vas, but the urologist may need to do a testicular biopsy. He can find out if any sperm are still living. Even if all are "Dead" you can still get pregnant via IVF with ICSI. I agree with the previous poster. Wait and see what the urologist says, and I'll be praying your wife gets pregnant soon!
