Waiting on the official results now (should hear back tomorrow). It was a sad day though because we really thought we had conceieved on our own since my wife was just shy of a week late, which is very odd for her.


Just hoping for some good, or at least definite results.

I know it won't be normal, but hopefully I get some idea of what I need to do to fix my problems (if possible)

why does it take so long to get the results back? The u/s should give results immediately. I hope that what ever they find can easily be fixed.

Well it's a varicocele, on the left side, which is the most common. I'm scheduling the appt to see the urologist again tomorrow, so he can explain the surgery and then I'll try to schedule that asap. I know it may not help, but I think it has something to do with the pain in my other testicle. I'm hoping it helps and we don't need to do anything else more drastic and expensive.

Are you azoospermic? If so have them look for sperm while removing the varicocele and have it cryopreserved. That way insurance will pay for it. Have you had bloodwork done? If so, were the results normal?
