Looking for support

We haven't found another couple who has the same problem as us, but what we did find was an adoption group at our agency. It helps to have others with similar (if not the same) problem. Knowing that I will never be able to carry our child is something that we've both learned to deal with. I hope that within your community that you can find a support group. There are usually local chapters of RESOLVE. Good luck. |

Me and my hubby have been threw this he to has zero count and has had a hard time with it. Me I have problems myself but mine were fixable. We talked about all possiblities, not having kids at all which i dont think i could handle this is what i've always wanted, using a donor, or adoption. The adoption part seems so expensive and time consumming we went with a donor. Had my first IUI Sunday. My hubby is having a very hard time with it now and i've looked all over for a support group for him with no luck. There is many options for you and this is not as uncommon as you think. We thought we were the only ones too when we found out.
Best of luck |

Max,
Let me just tell you that you are not the only ones dealing with that. Unfortunatelly, there is a lot of people with the MF My dh has zero sperm and after some blood tests he was dx with Klinefelter's sydrome. Which usually your doctor will tell you this is the end of the road. Well, if you go the one of the best doctors is not. Dr. Schlegel at Cornell is the one that has patients coming from other contries to see him. He has had a lot of success with KS men, it's so new that a lot of doctors don;t even know that's possible. I know a girl thru message board that just got pregnant for the second time with help of Dr. S. ( Her DH has KS) We are doing TESE with him in DEc and hoping for the best. To all of you dealing with this, please find the right doctor, Research the internet and if you can get a consultation with DR. S over the phone if you can't travel. Get a second opinion from him and you may be surprise. ( there was a couple from UK that did biopsy with no sperm, moved to NY went to see him for last chance and got pregnant) you can check out Don;t lose hope! Check out FertilityFreind .com, IVFconnections.net and rubber-ducky.org we all deal with the same issue Best of luck and let me know if you have any questions |
