Need a male point of view

So my DH has lower testosterone and low motility. His urologist prescribed him Clomid and Proxeed. My DH has horrible insurance and nothing is covered so we've already spent over $1,000 and didn't even get to the expensive stuff yet. He has only taken Clomid for a month and I can't afford Proxeed. I'm thinking I should have him stop taking Clomid since most people say it doesn't work for men and have him start taking Zinc and Selenium and maybe FertilAid. This will be less expensive and I have heard good things. I can see if it works and if not in January I can put him on my insurance which covers some things and we can try medication then.

What do you think? I need help!

I am a woman, but I think that is a great idea. After taking fertilaid for a month it lowered my DH's blood pressure. He only took it for a month b/c we decided to take a break from TTC. Right now I have him take GNC Mega Men multi vitamin, and L-carnitine (which is the main ingredient in fertilaid). We are seeing an RE too. We are waiting for his blood test results to find out his hormone levels and blah blah blah. But my RE said in the meantime to just take a multivitamin that has zinc and folic acid. If you compare the ingredients of a good mens multivitaim to the fertil aid they are similar. The mega men is actually better than the fertilaid. But I have him taking the L-carnitine (sold as target) just to double on it.
