Dreaming about being pregnant

I am married and 29 and have come to grips with the fact we will never conceive, failed IVF attempts. But why I am writing is because once in a while I dream I have birthed a child and I keep trying to relive the feelings in my dream. I try to recap the feeling of the baby growing which I have never felt and I have a sense of what it is like to birth my own child . All day long I have been day dreaming of that dream. Does this happen to anyone? I just felt the need to say this outloud. I told my husband but a man doesn't long for the feeling of a child inside of them. Please let me know if you ever have these kind of dreams too.

Question Yes...

I have had a similar dream, not so much of the baby inside, but the baby is alive and born, and he's mine, and I know he's mind. I feel like it was from another life time ago, that it's not from this life. I don't know if you believe in past lives, but do you feel like it's you in this life? Sorry if it sounds like a strange question!
Are you and your DH going to think about adopting?

DH and I had been TTC for almost four years before I got pregnant, I would say probably a few months leading up to when our child was concieved I would have dreams of holding a baby and having the sense that it was my child, I would have dreams of me breastfeeding a baby and looking down at them, I would even have dreams that I was in labor and telling everyone that it was time to go to the hospital. When i would wake up the feelings were almost over whelming because I wanted that so bad..Then We did get pregnant on our own after many many failed treatments. I believe dreams are gods way of showing us things. So dont give up If I can get pregnant so can you!!!!

I hate those dreams

Thanks for posting. I have had my tubes tied, cut and burnt for IVF's so natural is impossible and I don't want anymore drugs. I am 29 now and our attempts were about 4 1/2 years ago so I was really young. In one try I produced 39 eggs and with icsi we have around 15 viable embroyo's left. Maybe that is why I have those vivid dreams because they are still out there. And I do believe in past lives and I never thought of it that way, it could be possible I am remembering a past life. Awesome guys thank you.

Cool

I Also Feel Dreams Are Gods Way Of Talking To Us Sometimes...

During The Day There Are So Many Other Things Going On...and When We Are Sleeping We Are Shut Up Long Enough To Hear Him...

Hence The Reason I Dream Everynight...lol

I've had many very real dreams like that.

One was so cool. My stomach was so huge and I could almost feel what it might feel like to be pregnant and have the baby move all around in there. The coolest part was that when I'd look down at my belly it was transparent, so I could both see and feel the baby. When i woke up from that dream I just bawled like a baby. It had felt so real. I laid there and rubbed my stomach just wishing it was true...and wishing I could fall back asleep forever and continue the dream.

But I've had many dreams of either being pregnant, giving birth, breastfeeding, taking care of the baby, dressing the baby, even dreams where I've had multiples and where I was decorating this big nursery with a bunch of cribs because I had like 5-6 babies on the way.

I had a dream while I was 7 months pregnant that I was putting my son in his car seat (he was about 2yrs. old in the dream) and he looked up at me with these beautiful blue/green gorgeous eyes and his light hair. When I woke up I thought it was funny because my dh and I both have dark brown eyes and dark hair. Well, guess what.....my son ended up having blue/green eyes with super long eyelashes (people comment on his eyes in public) and light hair. Never would have guessed!
