Heart Help... Girl Names!

Hi everyone! We decided to be surprised when our little one arrives and need help figuring out a girl name. We've actually had a boy name picked since before we even got pg (Parker Jacob). The problem we're having is our last name is Rose and to find something that goes with it in a not so corny way. I love the name Lily and Autumn but... Lily or Autumn Rose would be silly! We do have a middle name picked because it's a special family name and that's Judith. So... any suggestions would be wonderful!! Thanks so much for any help!

Thanks for the suggestions...

Jen-Autumn Rose was actually a first pick for me and I didn't think it sounded bad until I started talking to some others who tried telling me it had a "stripper-ish" sound to it! I should have kept to myself but I didn't and now I think of that when I hear the name.

Amy- I think Lily is so cute! Just wish it was something I could use. What do you have picked for a middle name?

Laura- I've also tossed around Tessa. I think it's a great name! My DH is the one who protested that one.

He really is very picky! Seems like he has as association to every name I toss out there. Drives me crazy! So far he likes MacKenzie and Kaylin. I like Kaylin also just not one of my top picks. I also like Merideth, Kylie and Morgan. Of course he's vetoed all three. *sigh* Keep the ideas flowing! Thanks again!

I love the name Avery as well as Portia, Tabitha and Ivy. I wouldn't suggest Emily though, if you remember the movie The Exorcism of Emily Rose, well when I gave birth to my daughter Lorelei, there was a woman in there that named her daughter Emily Rose and it was right when the movie came out...LOL Best of Luck!!!

If you like Lily, how about Lillian? I think a first name with at least three syllables would sound best with the middle name you're going with and your last name. I know middle names don't usually get used very much, but if you're like just about every other mother alive, you'll use it when you holler at her so you'll want it to be something you won't get tongue-tied trying to shout

I love the name Lily, I have been thinking about that one for myself. I've also been thinking about Ivy.

My husband is very picky too! I feel like every name I say, he scrunches up his nose and says "it's ok, I don't really like it." Its so sad......

Gotta love it when you type out a response and then you get booted offline before you can post it! Grrr!

Thanks again for the suggestions. When DH gets home I'll have to ask him what he thinks of some. Some of them we've already gone over and he has turned his nose up.

Carisa- Your DH and mine are very similar with this baby naming business! I think also it's worse with the girls name because it'll be daddy's "little girl" and it has to sound just right. He's always egar to shoot down the suggestions but not as readily to offer news ones.

As far as the suggestion of Lillian, we've already gone over that one. My aunt's name is Lillian and I've always loved the name but DH thinks it'll get shortened to Lily and we'll be back to the whole double flower thing again. **SIGH**

You guys are great, thanks!!

My DH is extremely picky when it comes to names as well, but we finally settled on Kennedy. Not sure if it fits with the middle name that you have picked out but Kennedy Rose sounds really pretty.

We also liked the names
Hailey
Caylin (w/ a "C" b/c we didn't want her nicknamed "Kay-Kay"
Bailey
