Newspaper for Baby's Keepsake Box
Hi. I don't want to talk politics and I'm not trying to start any trouble or discussions about it. I just wanted to say that with this election, history has been made. I think it will be an amazing memory if later in life my daughter is able to read about how history was made the year she was born. What better way to capture this moment than to get a newspaper tomorrow and put it in her keepsake box. Just an idea that I thought was cute, so I wanted to pass it along. Again, no intentions on speaking politics. Hope no one is offended by this post, I didn't mean to if I did.

Jan 21- Baby moving all around, AMAZING! 162bpm Feb 26- 1st OB appointment - everything is great, heartbeat 150bpm Apr 15- Anatomy Scan - Perfect (It's either a boy or a girl we are waiting for the surprise!) Jun 23- Passed Glucose Tolerance Test - Yippee! Our daughter was born during Katrina in 2005...I bought a Time special edition the year in pictures for her keepsake box. Of course it featured heavily on Katrina which was the idea. I think the entire time we were in the hospital, my tv never left CNN as we followed coverage. I think it's a great idea.

Twin B-A boy w/congenital heart defect Nov. 10 2008...ruptured membranes, Georgia Leigh 7lbs 10 oz and Calvin Zachary 6lbs 14 oz are born!!! Nov. 16 2008...Calvin passes away due to complications from open heart surgery...God rest my angel.

I think that it is a great idea! I have a paper from the day she was born, the day that her birth announcement was in, and today's paper would be another great paper to add to her keepsake box! Thanks for the idea!

I think this is a wonderful idea. Our baby is not due until next year, but I will ask my friends back in the states to save this one! I will also have a Swedish paper since it's of course big news here too!

I just told DH this morning that we need to buy a paper. Time magazine might be a good idea too.

Grow baby grow! 5/14/08-1st U/S-one perfect heartbeat! 5/21/08-2nd U/S-baby measuring on schedule! 7/28/08-Level II ultrasound-It's a GIRL!!! TTC #2 since July '09 - naturally for now.

Me - 34 - PCOS, 1 Ovarian Ectopic in 2002 DH - 34 - no issues TTC since 2000 IVF # 1 Oct/Nov 2007 Cancelled due to low E2 levels & few follicles IVF#2 Lupron Micro Dose Flare protocol ER - 1/31/08 - 3 mature eggs, 2 fertilized w/ ICSI ET - 2/5/08 - 1 Morula transfered 2/13/08- Beta - 31, 2/15/08- Beta 84, 2/18/08- Beta 367, 2/25/08- Beta 6,4952/23/08- light spotting 2/28/08- more bleeding 2/29/08- early unscheduled ultrasound to rule out ectopic. Not ectopic, Praise God! Source of blood- small blood pocket above placenta. 3/10/08- 2nd U/S- baby measuring on schedule and good heartbeat! Praise God! 6/2/08- gender scan! It's a GIRL! 6/24/08 - repeat anatomy scan - Baby weighs 1 pound 1 ounce! 9-16-08 - Sophia was born 6 weeks early due to preeclampsia. She weighed 3 pounds 15 ounces but is doing excellent! Thank you God!

My Cousin's son was born on Election Day- So it's especially important for her!
