Ok this should make you all laugh! I remembered it today!
Before my last D&C being the "old Pro" at it, I had the routine down pat. NO food or water after midnight. For some reason I was VERY hungry that morning! I sat in the day surgery waiting room waiting (as you do in a waiting room) I could smell coffee from the coffee bar in the lobby and my tummy was a rumbleing something fierce! I kept smacking DH in the arm saying have I told you I am hungry? like every 2 minutes!
Well when I was walked into the OR my nurse also knew I was HUNGRY and the saline bag was not doing it for me, she sat me down on the table and said well dear lay down I just slipped you a micky! I liked her Micky A LOT!!! LOL

When waking up from the general anaesthsia the same nurse was there holding my foot making sure I was coming out of it ok and she had the strangest look on her face, she was laughing and asked my pain level I held up 4 fingers out of five and she told me "goodnight again then dear". What I came to find out later the reason she was laughing was I woke up SINGING! Now remember I was hungry going in........
I was singing the BIG MAC song, two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce cheese pickels onions on a sesamie seed bun..................... OUT LOUD!
Needless to say I got double graham crackers in the recovery room and I still made DH go sneek around and get me some more! i tell you I was HUNGRY!!! My brother came to see me at the hospital, he called to make sure I was ok, I told him yes I was but no longer at the hospital and he could meet me at Panara Bread at the mall next to the hospital I was ordering my lunch!!! Do not mess with a woman on hormones and HUNGRY!!!
