what addiction have you given up for better chances??
Ok I know we are all not PERFECT but I am as close as it gets!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT!!!!! LOL
What have you given up in your quest for a child? I have given up diet coke, cold turkey was up to a 12 pack every 2 days! I also have cut down on caffeen I still get my half caf mocca latte's at Starbucks daily but it is a lot less then I used to! I was up to 3 starbucks a day just regular non fat extra hot latte's. I have also cut down on saturated fat not out all the way but................. better! How about ya'll?

I have also given up caffeine, I normally drank 2 cokes during my work day and one in the evening. Now it's strictly caf. free green tea, water and a little juice in the evenings.
I'm about to give up my canned foods, microwave meals, etc.

I gave up all my soda! Diet Coke and Coke Zero were my total vices!!! Man how I miss them...

ALL Caffeine - I'm a green tea every morning, diet soda at lunch, iced tea at dinner girl. I quit caffeine cold turkey the day of transfer...but my alternate is diet Barq's root beer - one a day. Is the artificial sweetener really bad too??????

Me - 35 DH - 30 TTC- 4 years Endometriosis, 2 laps in the past year Hypothyroidism - taking Synthroid daily for eternity... __________________________________ First IVF cycle began stims on 7/5 ER - 7/26 (16 eggs) ET - 7/29 ( 3 embryos transfered) - First Beta on August 12th = 765  - 2nd Beta on August 14th = 1476  - 3rd Beta on August 16th = 2840  - 8/ 26 - US -one little sac and heartbeat detected !! - 9/1 - ultrasound detecting 2 sacs - one embryo is not going to make it, but one has strong little heartbeat - YIPPEE!!! - 9/8 - US strong heartbeat on Baby A, small sac or baby B has no heartbeat still.

I gave up my one really bad habit...smoking!! It's been about 3 1/2 months...I did sneak one here and there..like 2..but that's it. It was actually easy...cold turkey too!! So glad I gave that up..fewww..
I have one cup of cofee a day..I rarely drink soda or tea. But I do love my glass of wine with dinner...uggh...so hard to let that go. But will do anything for a little bambino!!

BFP w/hpt on 4/11 & 4/12 BT on 4/12 - beta is 8,000! Holy crap! 1st u/s Wed, 4/18 - everything looks great! 1 baby/sac & heartbeat  (our little miracle)1st OB appt. 5/3 (8 wks) 2nd u/s 5/16 baby is doing great, HB at 171 OB appt. 6/14, HB at 150 18 wk u/s 7/18 It's a Boy! what haven't I given up...caffeine, gum, alcohol, cigarettes(only when I drank, so that was easy when I stopped drinking my wine). Trying to stay away from art. everthing, but it is so hard..
Why should we cut back on Fat???

Although I only have 1-2 cups of coffee a day...I think I will cut that out completely. I don't drink soda so that is about it for me!

I see everyone is drinking the green tea. What's up with that? what does it help?
You know at this stage you would eat, drink, wear anything if it meant you could get a baby.

thank you!!! Thankfully it was easy for me...I smoked like a pack every 3 days...and sometimes on the weekends I wouldn't smoke at all, so it wasn't too bad. But the vino....oh man!!
I must sound like an alcoholic, haha!!

I've given up alcohol completely and cut back drastically on caffeine, aspartame, and pre-prepared meals.
I still smoke. I've cut down, but I still smoke about a half a pack a day. I know I should quit, but it's the only thing that keeps me sane (shush, that's my story and I'm sticking to it  .
