The perfect weather - not too hot, not too cold - and the crisp smell in the air.

Apple picking and pumpkin patches. Hot apple cider and homemade donuts. The sound of the leaves crinkling under your feet when you walk.

Basically everything everyone else has listed, but most of all, I like how it is the initial onset and reminder of the holiday season approaching. We host Thanksgiving, and Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday (not cuz of the gifts)!!

I'm with Amy. What's Autumn? It means less humidity. I can sit outside on my porch and not sweat.

I love the cool temperature at night and the perfect temps during the day. I love the colors as they change from green to orange, yellow, red and brown. I love to feel the crisp cool wind blowing through my hair as I close my eyes and breathe as deep as I can. Jeans and a sweatshirt is what I call comfort clothing and a nice bowl of homemade chili or beef stew or roast with veggies is the comfort food to go right along with the changing times.
