I do normally watch it but last night was also the finale of Big Brother. I've heard that Mario Lopez and Emmitt Smith are the top male contenders. I guess I'll have to watch the results show for the recaps.

I love this show too!!! I loved Mario (the dimples) and really fell in love with Emitt (sp)! He had such style and grace - what a man! Yum!

I was shocked at Harry Hamlin. Just expected him to be good, but it was painful to watch him. Joey Lawrence is going to be contender too I think. Tucker Carlson was fun to watch, but don't think he'll make it too far. Wasn't crazy about any of the women- not yet anyway - can't even think of any that stood out a whole lot.

We'll have to update each week on our picks.

Just watched the "kick-off" show!
Painful to watch- I did think Jerry was a tiny bit worse than Tucker, but he'd of gone by next week anyway. I forgot in the last post how amazing Vivica was. So dumb of me... she was awesome. A bit on the fiesty side too!

just watched it to! i agree about vivica! and she looked beautiful too!!! am i the only one that felt a little sorry for shanna? (from meet the barkers) i think it is a great idea to come every week and say who you think should stay and go!

I totally felt bad for her, especially when she told everyone she's in the middle of a divorce. I thought the two (male) judges went over the line a little bit tonite trying to be funny or something. It's not American Idol, they are supposed to be critical, not insulting and rude. It made Bruno seem very unproffessional (wish we had spell check).

I watched the results show last night too. I wasn't too impressed with Tucker's dance since he spent most of it sitting down so I guess I was glad to see him go. I think that the first show is always rough because they've not had a whole lot of time to get into the swing of things. Shanna is going through a public divorce and while the comments were rude I think she's tough enough to improve and show them what she's got. We'll just have to wait and watch next week and see how people improve.

After seeing his performance (or lack thereof) again, he (Tucker) seemed kind of like a pervert with the facial expressions he was making at his dance partner!
I was also very surprised that Willa was in the bottom three.

Joey was definetly my first pick. Mario and ??? (it's so funny because when they were dancing, I kept saying to my dh, "they're not even doing the steps"!)
screwed up. She should know better!

Loved the young girl that was in the high school singing movie (forget her name).

Willa Ford did great too. Emmitt (sp) was very good tonite as well.

Very dissappointed with Vivica this week. She doesn't move her hips very well. I was betting on her being top dog this week too.

lori, i agree with everything you said! joey was my fave BY FAR! he looked amazing and what a cute smile! he's got my vote this week.

who's got to go home? i think it may be poor old jerry springer.

Yeah I agree! He's really the only one who you know can't really dance at all (not like the rest anyway).
I'm also on the fence about Harry Hamlin. He seems kind of like a stiff jerk. He did impress me with his attitude a bit more this week. He always tries really hard too. Maybe too hard?

I loved Joey's performance last night. He was so full of spirit and it came out in the dance. I thought he was the best by a mile. While Mario was trying to have fun he wasn't sticking to the dance at hand and I think that hurt them a little. Jerry and Kym did alright but nothing fantastic, nothing that really stuck out. Harry's performance wasn't as stiff but you can tell he's not all too comfortable. I didn't watch Emmitt last night so I can't comment on him. Any men I missed?
Now the ladies are doing so so. I thought Monique did tons better this week and Shanna improved as well. I thought Vivica would be the top of the pack bringing her sexy style to the dance but it wasn't what I hoped for. I didn't watch Sarah Evans so I don't know how she did either. If I had to give a pick of one girl or boy to go this week it would be..............Jerry Springer
