Sorry I've been gone this past week. It's been hairy around here.

DH has been really sick with either a hellish stomach thing or something else. I really think he has either bad acid reflux or a stomach ulcer. Four years ago, he had an endoscopy done and it showed that his esophagus was becoming ulcerated from reflux. Did he follow the doctor's orders by changing his eating habits or taking meds? Of course not! So, he's been so violently ill, that I'm thinking that's the case. He has an appt with the gastroenterologist next week. His main dr said over the phone it was a stomach bug but didn't see him. I don't think it was any old bug. He only puked once but was nauseated in bed for days and had a million trips to the bathroom in between.

Just in case, though. I'm Lysoling my house majorly. I don't want me or the boys to get it.

Also, we were all psyched for a major job for DH but that fell through late last week right before he took to his bed. Maybe that is part of why he's been sick.

Aside from that, I've just been miserable with it being winter and yucky weather and being cooped up inside. The boys are tired of being in, too and are ready for spring. We all need some outdoors time.

Well, I'm still alive. But I missed you all tons!

Poor DH hope he feels better and gets the reflux under control.

Well sounds like you really have had a crazy time lately. Why is it that men would rather be miserable then to just do what their doctor's tell them to do or to see the doctor at the first signs rather then when it's progressed? I'll never understand! Glad your back.

Karen Welcome back and we missed you too. Sounds like you've had some kind of week though, hope your DH gets well soon.

I'm right there with you on wanting Spring to come, it's been a hellish winter here in Denver, we've never seen so much snow in the Metro area.

AAWW, I hope things get better. Welcome back!!! I know what you mean though. With the weather being crazy here my daughter keeps getting sick and when she gets sick it drives me crazy because her sugar sky rockets and she gets ketones and then panics. But she says that taking lots of insulin because of the orange juice makes her stomac feel sick. So we are back and forth for a week. So good luck to you girlfriend, we are here!!
