Very Bad Day!!!

Ok, so at work two of the managers have been arguing over alot of stuff lately. I was partially dragged into it on sunday because of a scheduling problem and a manager who isn't even over my department had to help out. It wasn't really bad and I didn't get a "talking to" but was warned I may get one and then didn't. So I thought that it had blown over but today she cornered me in the office and verbally attacked me!!! Saying lots of bad stuff about the department, scheduling, and an associate who had problems (completely not my fault) the other night. Ok, with all this and my appt tomorrow to get the ball rolling can ya guess what I did???? I didn't say a word, let her finish, went into the bathroom and started crying! I got my composure and got over to my department, got into my stockroom (my department has it's own) and started sobbing!!! I scared one of the other workers half to death! He had never seen me that way!!! I was crying off and on the whole morning! It was aweful!!!!!! I told another manager about it and he was suprised and told me that she wasn't mad at me, she was mad at someone else and I was the only one there for her to take it out on! How unprofessional can you get?!?!?! I am still a bit emotional about it because I just can't see why she would do that to me!!!

DH and I have talked and I am applying for a part time office job and I will be going back to school fulltime to complete my second bachelors degree. I really think this is the best way to go with DH making good money and happy with where he is at right now. I hate to take the pay cut but I really think I have to! I can't take this! And if I was to get pregnant I wouldn't be able to be doing all of the bending and lifting needed for that department so I really think it is the the best choice. I don't want to be in the middle of this war but I don't want to leave them hanging without someone to take over the department--I run the best department in the district!!!! (or so I have been told by some district people)

Sorry to hear your day went so bad. I have felt this way over a boss before and remember how stressful it can be. One reason why I am now self employed. I have met several very unprofessional bosses. I hope your day goes wonderful tomorrow and you will either find a less stressful job or your current job will improve. Take a beep breathe girl, things will get better.

Thanks, I really hope I can get the part time job. It is an office job which would be really good for my knee and I think for my sanity!

I took an ovulation predictor (#5 for this cycle) and it is now 4 out of 5 that are showing what I think is a positive!!! I am never buying this brand again!!!!!

This job sounds too stressful. Its definitely a good idea to find something that can help you keep the stress levels down. Some people are just so unprofessional that its obnoxious!
Take care of yourself. I hope everything works out well for you.

Yeah, it is getting too stressful for me. I have worked retail since 2/98! I have never been this stressed before! It has only been the last couple of months that have been too stressful and it has been two years since I started there! We had a manager leave (the one over me) and his replacement isn't the same.
She does things completely different!!! I guess I can deal with it till I get a new job, preferably an office job, my legs can't take this, I am 28 with horrible spider veins!!! I guess we will see, I will call tomorrow and ask about that part time job, it is linked through the university so I would get a discount on tuition (i don't think i mentioned that before)! I truly think today was my wake up call that I don't belong there anymore!

Yeah, I am going to do what is best for me, not the department. I hate leaving them but I know it is for the best!!! I am going to hate to tell them but I will wait till I have a job lined up to do that. Hopefully I can find something soon, I am going nuts!!!
