romantic dessert ideas?
today is dh and i's 3 year anniversary! we celebrated on sat. by going out to dinner, but i want to do something special for him tonight too! i am going to make his favorite dinner, but this time i am makit it from scratch! also, i want to make a super yummy, romantic, dessert. any ideas? thanks ladies!

 TTC #1 for 2.5+ years ME: (Amy) 28, tubal damage DH: (Chris) 29, perfect! 3 IUI cycles cancelled due to a # of problems & 1 cycle resulting in BFN 1/12 BFP on natural cycle,ectopic pregnancy ended 1/23/07 1st IVF: 2/7- ER- 17 eggies!! WOW, 13 fertilized! 2/10-ET - transferred 2 8-cell 6dp3dt and 7dp3dt- hpt=  God is so good! Betas: 2/22= 170, 2/25= 499, Progesterone 239, 2/29=2857 1st u/s 3/13 (My wedding anniversary!) 140 BEAUTIFUL bpm! 2nd u/s 3/27 - WOW! The growth is amazing! 182 bpm U/S 5/27/08 GO TEAM BLUE!!! Baby Jack is on his way! OMG THEY WERE WRONG! Baby Jack is now Baby Lily! We've switched teams...we're now THINKING PINK!!! Thank you God for this amazing oppurtunity!

oh yeah, i also have been saving a bottle of champagne that i got last summer in napa. i am so excited to finally open it!

I would have to go with chocolate covered strawberries....they go great with champagne!!! have fun

Happy Anniversary Amy. I hope you and your hubby have a very romantic evening at home celebrating your anniversary again. There is no limit to the amount of celebrating you can do for birthdays or anniversaries! My favorite easy at home dessert is what everyone else mentioned. Chocolate covered strawberries, bananas, pineapple, apple wedges and lots of whip cream (my favorite). It's just a nice way to have something simple but yummy at the same time.

This is REALLY good and REALLY easy!!
Sopapilla Cheesecake 2 cans crescent rolls (Pillsbury recommended) 3 8oz. blocks of cream cheese, softened 2 cups of sugar, divided (save 1/4 cup for topping) ***NOTE** I only use about 1 1/2 cups of sugar total. I think it's too sweet with a whole 2 cups. 1 stick real butter 2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. cinamon Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Roll one container of crescent rolls in bottom of pan. Mix cream cheese, vanilla and 1 3/4 cup sugar with beater until smooth. Spread over crescent rolls in pan. Top with other can of crescent rolls. Melt butter and pour over top of dessert. Mix cinamon and 1/4 cup sugar together and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden.

i have decided to do chocolate fondue! and dip lots of yummy things in chocolate. but karry, i am FOR SURE making that dessert the next time i have to bring a dessert somewhere! thanks for sharing! amy
