Your right people only hear one side...your side because they are your friends. Since they want the best for you they will have a harder time forgiving and forgetting things YOU tell them about your life. Once you bring people into your marriage by letting them in on the good and bad it is hard for them to know where the line is drawn. I'm know they want you to be happy so keep in mind that it hasn't been all that long ago where they saw you and your DH go through a really hard time. Maybe deep in their hearts they are afraid it hasn't been "great again" long enough. Not to say that it is up to them, just that it may be that they are really concerned about bringing another child into the situation to soon.
