What is the best thing about IF?

 DH: 29 Beautiful daughter born 4-23-03 TTC since Feb 2005 - didn't ovulate Started treatment Aug 2006 6 rounds of clomid  tubes are open bloodwork is good 3 rounds of femara/follistim/HCG 2 IUIs 6 months of acupuncture Moving on to infant domestic adoption!  Officially waiting to be matched!! -- June '08

I wouldn't want to know -- especially if I couldn't change it. Plus, what is life without a little surprise?
OK-- here is a funny/gross one I heard during a "Would You Rather" game... Would you rather lick the armpit of a person who doesn't shower regularly or chew off his toenail?

Me - 37, PCOS DH - 37, all good! 6 yrs trying naturally 04/2007 -- referral to clinic 05/2007 -- first appt w/RE 6/2007 -- lab work, HSG, US 7/2007 -- begin 3 wks of BCP 8/2007 -- clomid CD 3-7 /IUI #1 with three good follicles 9/2007 --  , ended in m/c9/2007 -- clomid CD 4-8 10/01 -- IUI #2 with one good follicle 10/12 -- hpt is +! Beta= 42 at 11 dpiui10/15 -- Beta #2 = 124 -- right on track at 14 dpiui 11/2 -- First u/s saw baby -- HB 133! measuring ahead of schedule! 11/16 -- u/s #2 and visit with OB! -- baby measuring 9 weeks, so right on schedule! 11/27 -- Nuchal Test, so will get u/s #3.

EWE!!! That's NASTY!!! But if I HAD to choose between the two I'd say chew off the toe nail (and spit it out then immediately go and disinfect my mouth!! Lol) THERE is NO WAY I'd go anywhere near a dirty armpit...YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!

I think I have about 9. They are the cheap internet ones though, and I always convince myself they must be wrong. Then I end up at the drugstore buying expensive ones anyways....

My ex-BIL who happens to be a very good friend. He's pretty hilarious. His brother is pretty funny too (my ex-husband, lol).

DH: 27, low levels, varicocele, varicocelectomy 4/25/07! 11/06: LAP, HYS, myoectomy, caut. of endo, D&C 12/06: IUI cancelled - over-response 1/07-3/07 3 IUIs, all BFN 5/9: start IUI #4 5/21: IUI converted to IVF 5/23: ER ~21 follies! 14 ICSI, 10 fertilized, 9 at d3, only 2 left at d5 5/28: ET - 2 blasts, grade C (not good) 6/6: BETA #1: 21 6/8: BETA #2: 61 P4: 44.1 6/12: BETA #3: 419! P4: 54.3 6:22: u/s #1: saw the hb! 85bpm 6/29: u/s #2: heard hb! 112 bpm, measuring on target!  7/13: u/s #3: hb...175!! Yeah! measuring perfect. It's made me more sensitive. I think I was sensitive before, but I really watch what I say so much more than I did in the past (to keep others from going home and crying like I have so many times).

 Me 34 (Maria)DH 37 (Rob) azospermia...chemotherapy/radiation TTC 2 1/2 yrs Lap for endometrial polyps/cyst on L ovary 9/15/06 5th IUI 10/10/07 !!!!! FINALLY! 1st BETA---10/30/07-----1,279 2nd BETA---11/2/07------4,416 1st u/s------11/15/07----WE'RE HAVING TWINS!!  2nd u/s-----1/2/08----only heard 1 HB as the babies were too active to get to hear both. 3rd u/s------1/31/08.....we are having a boy and a girl!!!! We are completely thrilled, amazed and blessed!! They both look very healthy and are measuring well! YEAH!!! Twins are here....5/10/08.....32 weeks 2/7 Lleyton Philip 4lbs, 17 in Delaney Elizabeth 4lbs 3 oz, 17 in 6/18/08 Lleyton 7lbs, 1 oz, 18 3/4 in Delaney 7lbs, 1oz, 19 in Milo (beagle with HUGE heart)

The nicest thing anyone has done for me is just continuing to love and support me no matter what. Nothing makes me feel better then that. No gifts can compare to the joy that I feel when I know those that I love are there to support me and cheer me on.

My proposal on New Year's day, just after midnight. I wasn't expecting it because DH and I had been fighting for the week leading up to it because I would have my brother with me for the party. He's 6 years younger then I am and back then we didn't get along the best. DH didn't want me to be in a bad mood for the night because he knew what he had planned. Everything was perfect though. That was the best surprise someone has given me. The best surprise of my life was both these pregnancies this year, natural after so many years and so many failures.
