I just received my second SS gift. Apparently, I got two...oops. Well, as I received it I came to find out that I never read the email from Jen giving me the second name until today. Then after receiving my second thoughtful awesome gift, I started feeling bad for two reasons.
1. I shopped on line for the first one....though used the person's likes ...this was sent directly from the store... not as personal is it??
2. my second person I just learned of today wont get their gift til after x-mas and I have to order it online as well cuz I have a wedding tomorrow and wont be able to get to the store/postoffice and will probably be late too.

Please forgive me, this was my first SS. I will do better next time. Although, I love what I got my first SS and believe she will too..not sure if it was personal enough and the second one will be online as well.

Don't feel bad!!! An online gift is absolutely great and I'm sure no one expected to get two SS so the confusion is understandable. This is all about just sending each other a real life reminder of our daily online support family and that can be any kind of token. Besides, these gifts aren't about Christmas for many of us - you and I included! So, don't worry about the timing or there being a right vs. a wrong. We love having you here and that's exactly what this was all about - getting to know each other!!

Sweetie, it is totally not your fault. It was mine and Devan's. I didn't know you were on both lists. I am sure your SS will understand. And I feel terrible about this because everyone was supposed to only be matched once! Check your PM from me (reply to what you sent me).

You did great and we are glad you participated. Next time we will make sure to have everyone check their PMs for the 2 days after we send out matches. We will do better next time. I am so sorry for this mix-up! Glad you liked your SS gifts, though!

I had to laugh when you wrote about shopping online! After looking for what my ss wanted, and finding it, I realized something: It was breakable, very breakable, and so I went to plan B. Buy a giftcard from the store where I saw what she wanted. It was a specific gift, and I was so excited I found it I figured she would not mind a gift card... Ok, so plan B fell through. Where she lives, there is not the store I found the gift at... Plan C. She likes a certain movie, so why not get a blockbuster card, and I will include a homemade gift,(i cannot describe too much about it b/c i mailed her a card hoping something will arrive before christmas) I thought this is great! She can get the movie she likes at blockbuster... And then I looked at everybody's posted pictures of their gifts! My heart sank! Not a gift card in sight! SO, next plan: shop online and let THEM be responsible for packing breakables..... If it does not get there by christmas, oh well! I did my best! I think that all us ladies just like the idea somebody out there is thinking of us!
So, do not feel bad, this too is my first ever secret santa where you have to send something in the mail...
