Ice Storm 2008--ROUND 3!!!!!

We are in the middle of another ice storm!!! Electricity has blinked a couple of times but hasn't completely gone out. They don't think we will get that much actual ice, mostly sleet and possibly a couple of inches of snow.

I am so ready for spring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weatherchannel says 2-5 inches of snow, winter storm warning in effect till 6pm!

We woke up to about an inch or so of snow today and it's been snowing big flakes ever since.

This is really our first snow of the season so my kids are so excited and begging to go play outside...I'm waiting till it gets a little thicker a little later this morning.

My oldest two had school today and were bummed that it wasn't a snow day.

I love the winter weather....but if it came ALL THE TIME...then I'd probably have my fill of it as well.

I can't even imagine this type of weather. My DH and I watch the weather every morning and we feel so bad for everyone with this horrible weather. We live in California and we are hitting the high 60's low 70's now and my DH told me this is why we live here....How do you drive in that kind of weather???

Just wanted to let you know that we are thinking about all of you....

I grew up in california...I love it there... pretty much every day of the year is a great day to be outside doing things.

Here in Arkansas we only have a few months of the year that are actually PERFECT weather...the rest of the time it's either tooo hot and humid and lots of bugs or way too cold or rainy and wet.

California is nice...we are in the northern part so we do get bad weather (we were hit by that bad storm in January and had no power for three days) but then again what I consider bad weather is probably nice for you guys.....if we get in the 30's at night that is when it is really cold for us...I have always wondered what it would be to live like in a winter wonderland though....it sounds nice but I guess only if you are staying in huh???

Thank goodness we didn't get it this time. I'm so sick of the snow and ice.

Ours was pretty much all melted by this morning! Yea! Now everything is a muddy mess again. I am soooo ready for some spring time weather. It was nice out Sunday and we grilled out and I got some easy outside stuff done that's been needing attention.

GO AWAY WINTER!
