I just have to say that you guys have the cutest cats in cast's. I am so sorry that they are hurt though. Hope they feel better soon. My kitty is 100% indoor but has snuck on the porch a couple times. She has gotten herself into a lot of situations where she could have gotten really hurt. When we got her she only weighed 1/2 pound and really should not have been away from her mother (she was a rescue kitty). She used to squeeze under the crack at the bottom of our bedroom door to get to us at night, she was that small!!! Well I hope the kittys feel better soon .

Well, I called the vets office yesterday, but by the time I had gotten home Cajun had already chewed his way through most of the tape and was walking on his leg. They said that if his legs are the same length he is probably okay. I have a hard time telling, but it does look to me like the hip is back out of the socket, although it is not as obvious as before. So today I took the rest of the tape off of him (it was still wrapped around his tummy and the bottom of his foot). I'm just gonna wait and take him back this week. He is getting along just fine, so if it is back out I think we will probably leave it out.

Here is a pic of him after I took the tape off.....he was soooo excited to be able to clean himself (with that tape around his tummy he couldn't bend to clean his legs!) and to stretch out LOL!
