OMG! This looks hilarious! I only hope that all the funny parts haven't been shown in the commericals, ya know? I hate it when they do that!

Me (Melissa): 31 ~ no known problems DH: 36 ~ V 10+ yrs ~ 2 boys  4 furbabies: Channi (dog) 11, Nina (dog) 3, Mo (cat) 9, Taz (cat) 212/11/07~1st appt of our TTC journey 1/23/08~1st HSG, normal 2/06/08 ~ Found our donor! 2/11 ~  last  for a while2/26 ~ IUI #1 at 11:30 am!!!! (69 million, 50% motility)3/9 & 10 ~ HPT ~ x2  3/10 ~ BETA #1 (13dpiui) ~ 119 P4 ~ 21.7 3/12 ~ BETA #2 (15dpiui)~ 341 3/20 ~ BETA #3 (23dpiui) ~ 6843 3/28 ~ Our first look at the little one ~ 112 beats/min (6w3d) 4/21 ~ HEARD the hearbeat for the first time!!! 160 beats/minute (10w) 4/24 ~ DH heard the heartbeat for the first time  5/9 ~ ERA showed baby to be low risk!  5/21 ~ u/s ~ hb/min 168 (14w1d) 6/19 ~  We're having a GIRL!!! 8/27 ~ 1st look at 3D image...I think she has Mommy's nose and toes!! Well, my cousin wants to take me to watch the movie but because i'm on "strict bedrest", I guess I'm going to have to wait until sunday. The movie looks good....

I've wanted to see this since I saw the commercials. I have learned throughout this process (or whatever else we can call it) that you have to keep a sense of humor. It isnt always easy and I know I have had a hard time always keeping my sense of humor. I didnt watch Knocked Up at first because I was in a not so good place, but my DH started watching it without me and I found myself pulled in. Glad I did, too .. it was really cute
My best friend and I are gonna have a movie night this week and go see this. Hope it's as funny as the previews make it out to be!

IUI Cycle #1 (12/07) - IUI Cycle #2 (1/08)- IUI Cycle #3 (2/08) -  kind of lost and upset right now.  Currently on a break, trying au naturalle (no shots, no meds, nothing but me and DH ) trying preseed and FertileCM from Babyhopes.com. Moving on to IVF when I am ready.

DH and I saw this movie last night. Liked it. Amy Peohler is hilarious. Although, felt the ending was bit rushed. Ultimately, Tina Fey gets pregnant naturally (sorry about the spoiler
) (not that I have a problem with this ending) just thought, if they really wanted to show the struggles of IF there was a room to make it look more realistic(in the IF world!) ending (like she found another surrogate or something...) Nonethless, good movie than the most.Vinita

Why spoil the moive for those who haven't seen it yet? Anyways, yes I'm Very excited to see it. My husband and kids also are dying to see it. Every time the commercial comes on my kids freak out and go "why is she going potty in the sink...YUK".

OMG! Can't believe you spoiled the ending!

 ME: 36 (low ovarian reserve, poor egg quality, endo) DH: 37 (inconsistent counts, low motility) TTC 4 years IUIx5 IVFx5 BFP on final IVF! 12/19 First U/S(5w6d) TWINS!! saw two sacs, one heartbeat, baby b a little behind we hope he/she catches up! beta 26,000.Second U/S 1/2 Lost baby B. One healthy baby now measuring exactly on target with HR of 155. 3rd u/s baby b still there but getting smaller baby A is perfect, moving around and has a HR of 172.1/24 OB appt-baby measuring ahead-HR 173. 3/19 it's a girl!!!! Everyone,
I feel compelled to respond again. I sincerely thought this was a fun discussion about the movie with out being too serious. After reading the above posts I completly understand why some of you would be upset. I apologize again for my error in judgement. In my defense, Once I read the responses I instantly emailed the admistrator and the moderator (who was online at that time) to delete my post (since 60 min. time limit to edit the post had expired.) I have never been too vocal on this forum but have always found it to be great source of information and support but now I certainly will be staying away from it as emotions flow here more freely even on off topics. Vinita- It's just a movie and we all slip sometimes. We will all get over it and besides, I just read the reviews and it got pretty bad reviews all around!
I slip on a daily basis when i accidentally call the baby he or she since DH does not know the sex and does not want to. No worries at all. Sorry if I upset you in any way. Life is too short to be upset by petty things.
