I really don't think you'll get this response. You're really not that overweight. I weighed about the same as you and am only two inches taller, and no one said a thing to me. Yes, being overweight can be a factor, and maybe it's more of a factor for you if your hormones are already not quite right, but when I asked about it my doc said I'd have to be a lot heavier than I was before it would affect my hormones. I always think of my friend's 300+ pound sister who got pregnant by accident with her husband who had a vasectomy decades earlier (30 year age difference).

You need to get your thyroid checked again to make sure the dosage you're on is still working properly. And if the dosage is changed, it needs to be checked again about 6 weeks later to make sure it's been adjusted right.
I really hope you can find some decent medical care soon. No one deserves to get the run-around where something as important as your health is concerned. |

I just talked to the RN/midwife I went to last yr for my yearly and she was very positive. She told me to keep trying and using the ovulation kits and to work on getting healthy (loose weight if I can, drink more water, etc), but if BFP doesn't happen in 3 months to come in (weight loss or not). She said as far as she could see (unless something comes up in the bloodwork) there wasn't anything to warrent concern yet. (And she said she had two ladies larger than me who were pregnant currently). She was even going to see if there was a nutritionist who was willing to talk to me without needing a referal.
She was also supportive that an extreme diet and 40lb weight loss was a bit much. She told me there were specialists in their group that I could see and to just have my records transfered over if I wanted to. She was very positive and helpful. I wish I'd just gone to see her in the first place. I think it's next month when I have to get an appointment to go back to the endocronologist again.

weight loss
Hi,
I started putting on a lot of weight especially on my thighs and bottom in my late thirties.People used to glare at me when I went out and I really wanted to do something about it. I started exercising as often as possible and also cut down on a lot of high calorie stuff. Unfortunately I hardly managed to lose any weight at all. I then recently read an article by a lady who claimed that she managed to lose nearly half of her weight using a particular weight loss product. I tried it out and it actually worked really well. Within 4 months I managed to shave off 65 pounds completely. The results were pretty amazing and I feel so much healthier and energetic now without having to carry all that extra weight around. You can read more about the lady's article at the link below I Was Fat And Miserable |

I would definitely check into your thyroid levels. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's although it has not caused me to become hypo yet (although it will sometime in my lifetime). They went ahead and put me on 50 mg of Synthroid so that my body was prepared once my thyroid quits functioning properly. It is also important with pregnancy. Studies have shown a non managed thyroid problem can led to m/c. My endo test my levels every 6 months, as they can suddenly change quickly. That darn thyroid...it caused people a world of trouble!
