New to Ovulation testing....

Hi...

I'm sure this has been asked, but if your cycle consistently has been inconsistent forever, with no known problems, how do you know what day to check ovulation with the kit?

I'm usually anywhere from 32 to 40 days.

Do these tests really work? Why do people have to do the ultrasounds instead?

Thanks

If I remember right, there should be a chart in the kit that gives you a suggestion on which day to start testing depending on the length of your cycle. If it's not inside the kit, you might try the ept website. Sorry I'm not much help.

I think they say to start testing on day 12 as most people with a 28 day cycle ovulate at day 14. there should be instructions with the kit.

I ovulate on day 16 and have a 35-42 day cycle!! i only found out my oculation by using a saliva test for a few months.
