Need Help...

I am TTC with Clomid. I have PCOS and do not ovulate. I took Clomid on days 5 - 9 of my cycle. I was told to start testing with an OPK which I did. On days 11 - 13 it was clearly negative. However, yesterday I thought that it could be positive, the line was very very close in color to the constant line. I wasn't sure but hubby and I BD'd last night. Now, this morning I did another test and it was negative. Without a doubt it was negative. So, I guess my question is, I didn't necessarily miss my surge and ovulation, right? I have one son already and he was conceived with Clomid and OPK's but I forgot how it worked last time. If I remember correctly my surge does not last very long at all. According to this round of tests it lasted around 24 hours. I guess now I wait. To be on the safe side I will BD tonight again. Hey, you never know, right? Baby dust to all and good luck.

TTC #2 with Clomid and Metformin

So now, we wait.

You should test at the same time each day and not with the first morning urine. You should also try not to drink anything for a few hours before the test. My RE says the best time to test is before noon.

You can get a positive two days in a row if you happen to test when your surge is on it's way up and again when it's on it's way down. Or you could just get one positive if you test when the surge is at its peak.

My RE says you should bd on the day you get your postive opk and then the next two days after. It sounds like you did get your surge. My surges were always just a little lighter than the control line.
