Question When am I fertile? 5 positive opk's in a row

I've been trying to track my best time to concieve but am so confused with it all. I got my period on the 16th of July. I think my cycle is 29 days long. I have a ton of opk's so on Sunday night (29th) I did one, and have done one every night since and they're all coming up positive. I feel so stupid asking these questions, but I'm so confused. Is this supposed to happen? I thought I would only have a couple of positive tests a month.
I've had the egg white type discharge since Tuesday.

There's no way I could be pregnant at the moment. Now I'm really worried there's something wrong with me.

Well.... OPK are tricky if you ask me. We are "trained" that 2 lines means positive from HPTs... but with OPK's you frequently (if not always??) get two lines, and what you are looking for is when the second line is the darkest of the days you pee on it - as dark or darker than the control line.... Does that help?

Yes, it does help, thank you. I'm not quite as worried now. Still completely clueless about how to work it all out though.

I have a couple of questions if someone wouldn't mind answering.

When do I start using the opk's; how many days into my cycle?

When I have the egg-white discharge, is that the time I should be trying to conceive?

Do we start trying when I ovulate or a couple of days before?

I am so sorry for all these questions. Just when I think I've figured it out, I read something that contradicts what I had been thinking and confuses me all over again.

Thanks a lot for the welcome, Sarah

Well... Those are the million dollar questions aren't they!?!?!??!?
I've been ttc for over a year, so I'm not sure that I'm the best source of info... but in a nut shell....
Yes, EWCM is a sign of ovulation and that you should be BDing.....
The instructions in the box of the OPK should have instructions including a formula, where you pick how many days your normal cycle is, and then it tells you at what day you should start POAS. On mine.... it says if you have a 28 day cycle, you are supposed to start POAS on day 11. Then do that for a week, and the day the line is the darkest, that means you are going to be ovulating within the next 12 to 32? hours.
As far as when to BD... Everyone seems to have different info... some say every day, some say every other day (depends on DH SA).........
Who knows?!?! The more that I learn about the whole baby making process, the more I'm amazed at how it does work!
Good luck!

I suggest you use the digital clear blue easy opk - you get a smiley face when you surge and no smiley face when you don't. This is sooo much easier than trying to determine your surge based on the color of your line. If your cycle is: 26 days test on cd10 - 27 days test on cd11 - 28days cd12 and so on. Be sure to BD the day you get a positive surge and the day after. To cover all your bases you may want to bd every other day during the week of ovulation. I hope this helps and good luck
